A brand new luxury 2 bed, 2 bath 1st floor corner apartment at 5* Roda Golf and Beach Resort. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and includes TV/DVD/CD player for your entertainment needs in the living area along with 2 leather sofas, one of which can be used as a double size sofa bed. The indoor dining area has an extending round table for a max of 6 people. Leading from the living area is the large south west facing terrace which gives maximum benefit of the sunshine making it the ideal place for al fresco dining late into the evening. The Master bedroom suite has a double bed, fitted wardrobes & drawers and an en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobe and drawers and is adjacent to the shower room. Located in the South East corner of Spain just 5 mins from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, this is the perfect setting for families and golfers alike. Los Alcazares being the nearest local town is a very traditional Spanish resort bustling with shops, restaurants and bars. The palm lined promenade runs alongside the Mar Menor and is ideal for walking and cycling as it’s very flat. Cartegena is just 15mins away and offers quayside dining and is steeped in Naval history. Murcia lies just 25mins away with a plentiful supply of restaurants, tapas bars, designer clothes shops and a beautiful cathedral. 2 brand new shopping centres can be found on the outskirts, easily accessible form the motorway.

Fun at Roda Golf - and I never touched a golf club

The accommodation was 1st class and the quality was excellent. The pool area being viewable from the balcony felt very safe and friendly. The well tended green spaces were a perfect setting for relaxing as was the brand new Club House Bar and Restaurant.
We had a lovely time discovering the local area and the almost daily street markets. The Mar Menor beach was great with fairly shallow waters making it very safe for our 6 & 9 year olds. We rented a sail boat and could have had instruction from the English sailing school if we wanted. We had a day trip to the Private Roda Beach Club which was a good experience.
We discovered some very traditional Spanish restaurants locally in Los Alcazares, Bar Tropical, Hotel Encarnacion and El Patio 4 being just a few of our favourites.
We're looking forward to going back to discover more of what the local area has to offer.

The Perfect Holiday

The apartment is far better than most with luxuries throughout. All the extras that make you feel like you're staying in a luxury hotel! Fantastic balcony with views over the pool, great for breakfast, lunch and a glass of wine in the evening as it gets the sun until it sets, perfect for those romantic evenings! Swimming pool and gardens immaculate, cleaned and checked every morning. The whole Roda Resort is clean, beautifully kept and an ideal holiday destination. Whether you want to just lay by the pool all day, visit the club house which serves meals from breakfast to dinner, or travel further afield this resort and apartment have it all. Don't miss out on the private beach club. You are collected by private coach from your apartment and taken to the ferry, then on to the club. Make sure you go early and spend the day. Local towns have great markets and sightseeing as well as excellent restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property to all my friends. The apartment has an underground garage with lift to all floors and there are security patrols on a regular basis, it makes you feel very safe and secure, especially if you were travelling alone.
