Our home in Ireland can be yours too for an enjoyable holiday in beautiful unspoilt County Mayo, Ireland. A traditional cosy farmhouse cottage set in an acre of peaceful secluded gardens and surrounded by country lanes, lakes and river streams for those leisurely walks and total relaxation. Our Farmhouse cottage is located only a few miles from the towns of Kiltimagh and Claremorris with their many restaurants and amenities. Galway, Westport, Ballina and the county town of Castlebar are all within an hour's drive as is the west coat, Joyce's Country and the beautiful Connemara National Park. Low cost airline Ryanair can fly you into Knock Ireland West airport from Stansted, East Midlands, Luton and Bristol and Hertz car rental offer competitive car hire rates at the airport, so book early to get the very best deals which may be much less than you think!.

Situated in what is the rural splendor of beautiful County Mayo and yet only a few miles from the artisan village of Kiltimagh and the vibrant town of Claremorris with thier many restaurants and amenities. Knock Marian Shrine is nearby and for shoppers the City of Galway and the county town of Castle bar are hard to beat 'who needs Dublin when you have Castle bar' is what the locals say! Also within an hour's scenic drive is the west Atlantic coast, Joyce's Country and the beautiful Connemara National Park. Westport and clew bay offer local fishing, golf, horse riding and climbing with the holy mountain of Craig Patrick always beckoning in the distance. There are many historical sites and places of interest to visit, traditional pubs, 'ceol agus craic' and excellent food. The rivers Shannon and Moy, loughs Mask, Corrib and Conn and Killala bay, Ireland's only fford are nearby as is the town of Ballina and the famous Foxford woolen mills and the Aran and Achill islands.

| Notes: | The lounge and kitchen have open fires with coal and turf supplied and the house benefits from full oil fired central heating. Electricity and heating are fully inclusive in our charges. The lounge has 2 settees and 2 wingback armchairs, one settee is a fouton style bed and the other is a fully sprung bed settee, useful for friends or visitors staying over or children. The kitchen diner is bright and modern and benefits from 4 ring stove, high level oven, grill and microwave, fridge with small freezing compartment and dishwasher. There are 6 dining chairs and very adequate crockery, cutlery and utensils. The floors are natural pine and the stairs are steep and may be unsuitable for the very young or elderly as the bathroom is upstairs. The washing machine is located in the outside store room and a rotary linen line and washing liquid is provided. There are 4 garden chairs, a basketball net and balls, 2 adult bikes [M&F] and a barbeque. The garden is laid to lawn. |
