Romantic trulli villa 2 min drive to local town Alberobello, composed of 2 trulli houses, 4 people each,with pool. The property is situated within acres of olive, cherry and fig trees, is surrounded by typical local stone walls and benefits from cooling breeze during the hot summer months. Beautifully furnished living/dining rooms with TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi, well equipped kitchens with oven, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle. There are 5 cosy and comfortable bedrooms with double beds and twin beds. One of the houses has a lovely log fire. All furniture are equipped to a high standard. Iron wrought beds and lovely local landscape pictures complete the tasteful furniture. The wonderful local climate can be fully appreciated in the large outside patio area, the solarium area with sunbeds, table and chairs, the amazing pool, the barbecue, the nice array of flowers and plants, the typical olive trees with their strange shapes and other fruit trees.

You will never be short of things to do in the town and surrounding areas. It is a great starting point for cyclists and walkers, artists and nature lovers alike.Beaches are easily reachable in 15 minutes by car (also a coach service is available ) and you are also well placed to go and visit the most interesting cities of Puglia region, with its architecture and history that characterize this warm and charming part of Italy. Spring and Summer are magic in Alberobello, with warm temperatures, entertainment, people, but you can also enjoy other periods during the year such as in September, with the traditional religious festival dedicated to “Santi Medici”, particularly spectacular and touching.

  • The twin bedded rooms can be arranged as a double with king size beds . There is an excellent central heating system for cooler months and hot water as well. One of the two houses has a log fire. All windows have mesh screening in order to be left open. PLEASE NOTE that we have complete and comfortable beds and NOT SOFABEDS !

Notes: This trulli villa has been made comfortable without losing its original structure. The pool can be viewed internally from the windows. A wheelchair path has been created to help elderly/infirm to access the pool area. The setting is lovely and peaceful, you can hear the silence even being just a few min from the attractions of the nearest towns and cities. You can spend your sunny days swimming in the nice pool or just have a rest under the tree on the sunbeds or preparing at the barbecue delicious local food and eat near the pool and .... under the stars!

Our research found a little gem just on the outskirts of Alberobello, Puglia (5 mins drive away) owned by a local family (Giannina and her father, Nino) - delightful and helpful folks. Peace and solitude abound in the Trulli with lots of character. The local people are very friendly and made us feel very welcome in town.
The Trulli is newly renovated and everything is fresh, clean and well maintained. It is a rustic home, with a modern bathroom and shower (powerful) and the kitchen is well appointed.
All around the property the views are wide open and beautiful especially at night when the distant lights sparkle. We dined outside at night, it was really quite magical.
Restaurants were not expensive and we tried quite a number. Walking in Alberobello at night was a pleasure with many families out promenading with young and old alike eating ice cream. Alberobello is a very safe and very sociable place.
The temperature was perfect (30c) and the pool was a welcome delight.

After this holiday we were sad to leave, it had been a real change of pace with a simple lifestyle and one I would happily recommend.

Beautiful trullo experience

We were lucky enough to find this beautiful trullo situated on the outskirts of Alberobello. The trullo has been recently renovated and so had all the mod cons you would expect. The weather was fantastic with temperatures in the top 30's so we made use of the BBQ and ate outside by the pool, enjoying the warm evenings (something you don't get to do very often in England!)
It was only a 5 minute drive from the town of Alberobello itself and it was so peaceful. The town itself was wonderful, especially at night. The restaurants were great and not too expensive. We wouldn't recommend attempting to walk into town as you would have to walk along part of a busy road.
On the whole we had a lovely week and Giannina and her sister Roseanna were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely like to go back.

we really enjoyed our stay in your villa! The villa was perfect for us - 2 adults, 1 child, very close to Alberobello but also surrounded by tranquil landscape!
