Charming 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Duplex Apartment situated on the second floor of an older style Traditional Spanish Style Apartment block with communal Swimming Pool and less than 1 minute walk to the Popular La Mata Beach . The apartment has ocean views from the living room Terrace, Double bedroom and Private rooftop solarium. There are 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. TV with Spanish channels only, DVD player provided. The front of the apartment block overlooks the La Mata street Market (held every Wednesday), local cafes restaurants beach bars and shops and the La Mata town centre all within easy walking distance. The beaches of La Mata are over 3 km's long and voted the best Beaches in the area a new promenade runs along side the beaches and ocean between La Mata and Torrevieja perfect for taking a relaxing stroll

The Town centre of La Mata is located approx 3 km north of Torreveija. The town can be described as peaceful and tranquil and less busy than its larger neighbour Torrevieja. The apartment is ideal for a beach holiday with long stretches of golden sandy beaches, sun beds, watersports and local restaurants and cafes shops beach bars all within easy walking distance A car is not necessary as a good regular Bus service (buses running every 20 mins) runs into Torreveija town centre and then back to La Mata (in a loop). prices are 1 Euro per head

  • Rental rates include check in / check out, all utility bills (water & electric) plus welcome pack on arrival. A deposit of £100.00 or €100.00 Euros is required to confirm booking. As we are based in Spain we accept full payment of rent in Euros upon arrival. The original deposit of £100.00 / €100.00 paid to confirm booking now acts as a bond against any damage to the property, excessive cleaning or lost keys and is promptly returned within 7 days of departure.
  • There is a standard charge of €50 per stay payable on arrival to housekeeper. This amount covers you for check in / check out / cleaning / laundry at end of stay plus welcome pack (tea coffee milk sugar water fruit juice sweets and wine) on arrival.
  • Airport Transfers can be arranged from either Murcia or Alicante airports, Bike Hire available, kids nursery furniture for hire.

The appartment is good enough. Very close to the sea and with quite nice view from the balcony. Local supermarket is within 5 min walk and bus stop within 3 min. Market arrives weekly on Wednesdays. Very good agency service.
About minuses... Funiture little bit old. La Mata seems to be a very quiet place, so no active night life and entertainment (however, it wasn't problem for us). It was liitle bit noisy in the evening in Aug, but in Sept most people left the urbanization and it became much more quiet.

The apartment is situated in a secure block which is quiet and secure. There are good views of the beach from the lounge balcony and the apartment itself is comfortable and well equiped. There are a number of stairs up to the apartment which could make access a problem for the less able but it did ensure you got a view and there was no one above you. LaMata is a pleasant small resort with numerous cafe's etc. but a rather dissapointing supermarket. On the plus side the draught wine stores (2) are a bonus!

Ideal for walking with a board walk along the beach, we walked to Torrevieja, and the nature trails around the salt lakes. The weekly market is busy and has a good produce section.

All in all a pleasant appartment in small Spanish resort ideal for families or couples.
