All properties are comfortably furnished and well-equipped, some with ground-level bedrooms. Situated by peaceful no-through lane, next to a footpath leading to nature reserves with an abundance of wildlife in the area, it is an ideal base for ramblers/nature lovers alike. Excellently situated to explore the many beaches of The World Heritage Coast such as Abbotsbury, West Bay and Lyme Regis, historic houses and gardens, pubs and restaurants – the perfect location to unwind!

There are shops and a bakery in the neighbouring village of Maiden Newton.

The Upper school is the most charming character cottage,in the most idyllic setting. The house is well maintained and the owners were most welcoming and full of local knowledge. We enjoyed being able to do lovely walks every evening right from the front door into glorious countryside and the house is situated close to some of the most stunning coastline Dorset has to offer. I would recommend the Upper School to anyone wanting a real gem of a getaway ! I am sure we will return.
