Nestled amidst the hills of Johannesburg this newly built ultra modern California style house was completed in April of 2008. It is designed and operated by an American family with deep roots in South Africa. You can rent the top 2 floors of this house as a self catering unit/sleeps 12 or as many rooms as you want on a B&B basis.This house functions as a Bed &Breakfast as well as a self catering unit.

The house itself sits atop Auckland Park Ridge, literally a stone’s throw from the highest point of Johannesburg. The North side of the house is made up largely of glass windows allowing plenty of sunlight into the home while showcasing the spectacular panoramic views of the naturally lush African foliage, beyond which lie the Magaliesberg Mountains

The ground floor has two living rooms, one on either side of a beautiful tiled hall way. A large dining area and balcony are located off the fully equipped modern kitchen. This floor also has its own bathroom. The entire floor is spacious, has plenty of natural light and a beautiful view. Designed to capture the natural light from all angles the 5 sky lights and other large glass panes provide all the needed sunlight. This house is ‘green.' The lower level holds two rooms similar to the ground level .These two rooms lead out to a tiled porch and the back yard. This lower level has its own separate entrance, is occupied by owners,services the house and is not available to guests. The house is suitable for business meetings, family reunions, or just plain vacation time.
We are located 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Sandton City – the shopping Mecca. Just 10 minutes away is Gold Reef City, South Africa’s most famous amusement park and a mere 3 kilometres down is Melville, often referred to as the ‘Greenwich Village of Johannesburg ‘offering a variety of restaurants, night clubs and shopping. Maid service is included free of charge. Phone, internet and shuttle services to and from the airport are available at additional cost. Enclosed parking for 5 cars and state of the art security are provided
