Charming Village House sleeps 4 - 6 - Ceret
The village house is situated in the picturesque Catalan village of St. Jean Pla de Corts set in the mountainous landscape of the Pyrénées Orientales famed for it's fine wine and food, tranquil atmosphere and sun drenched climate. The Village house (Sleeps 5) is situated at one end of a decked romantic Mediterranean-style courtyard with jacuzzi/plunge-pool. The village house has a living room, kitchenette, bathroom with luxury jet shower and 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is an airy double and the other a twin room with bunk-beds and an additional pull-out drawer bed. Travel cot available by request. The stunning landscaped lakes of the village are only a short walk away. Only 20 minutes from the coast and a 10 minute drive from the charming town of Ceret this property is situated in an ideal location.

St Jean Pla de Corts is a tranquil traditional Catalan village with a boucherie, patisserie, tabac and bar/restaurants all within walking distance. With it's mountainous backdrop the beautifully landscaped swimming lake (10 minute walk from the house) with shady trees and waterside bar/restaurant makes the perfect location for relaxing in the sun. The beautiful town of Céret is 5 minutes away (by car). Only 20 minutes south (by car) are the seaside towns running into Spain. The drive along the twisting coastal road features breathtaking views. Argelès-sur-mer is an attractive and lively old seaside town with long stretches of sandy beaches. Collioure is one of the best kept secrets of the coast where the Pyrenees tumble into the sea, creating a series of beautiful bays and rocky headlands which gives this stretch of coast its unique character. For the serious shopper Perpignan has everything you could wish for and is only a 20 minute drive away. Barcelona is just 2 hours away.
