The cosy and compact 200 year old two bedroomed cottage offers clean, comfortable accommodation for a maximum of three people, the close proximity of its courtyard setting to local shops and amenities make it ideal for a self-catering summer holiday rental. South Brent is a thriving community with businesses, school, village hall and community centre and boasts a range of shops supplying quality local produce, as well as all the necessities of daily life. There is also a Co-op Supermarket - open 7 days a week. FREE parking is available for cars and bicycles in the Station yard.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure the property + a separate cheque/payment of £50 for the SECURITY & KEY deposit, the balance of all the money being due 6 WEEKS before arrival. The SECURITY & key cheque/payment will be returned/reimbursed provided the key is left behind/no damage at the property. Out of season there is an additional £15 heating supplement. For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full at the point of booking, by Paypal (NB paypal fees apply and will be deducted from £50 security deposit), on-line banking, or personal cheque. (Personal cheques will take 3-5 business days to clear).
    Please note that bookings are normally FRIDAY to FRIDAY - but possible Saturday to Saturday bookings will be considered in special circumstances, if possible.
    Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at some times of the year where stated.
  • Duvets, pillows and bedlinen are provided. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.

SUITABILITY: The property is unsuitable for very small children, or those who have difficulty with mobility as the stairs are semi open-plan and typically steep and narrow.

As an ongoing project to improve the accommodation and facilities to ensure the comfort of our guests, we change, update, replace and renew as a matter of course, without losing that 'country cottage' feel as befits a dwelling of its age.

Parking: Peppercorn Cottage is just off the main street, where there parking is some parking available. The village also has a free car park in the old Station yard.
