Our beautiful, fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment in La Azohia, a typical Spanish fishing village, is located between the sea and the mountains, in the very small, pretty complex of El Pinar de San Gines. A ground floor garden apartment, it boasts a front terrace and garden, with beautiful views across the bay to the fishing harbour and mountains beyond, and a large landscaped back garden with plants and a tiled driveway. Inside, the property has two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds,and built in wadrobes and draws in both rooms. There is a large living/dining room with a sofa, dining table, large TV with DVD & Sky, and coffee table. The American style kitchen has built in hob with extractor, washing machine, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, and cutlery. The lounge and bedrooms have overheard fans plus Air Con. Bathroom has a bath, shower, bidet, WC & basin. Table, chairs, parasol & BBQ on terrace

A very pretty fishing village still traditionally very Spanish, with a few bars and restaurants. An English run bar & restaurant is on complex. The sand and pebble beach is safe for children and stretches far along the bay, very unspoilt, you can sometimes have the beach to yourselves. Nearby towns are Puerto Mazarron for lots of shopping and restaurants, Cartegena, a historical Spanish port and fantastic shopping, & Mazarron town. Lorca castle, the abandoned forts at Cabo Tinoso (literally in the mountains above La Azohia) and statues at Sierra Espuna are definitely a must see. Lots of golfing around and La Manga is just up the coast. Scuba diving is popular within the village, and it boasts several diving schools and trips out from the pretty harbour. Other activities in the area are boat trips from the Port of Cartegena, horse riding, quad biking and go-karting. The port of Mazarron has very good shopping and eating facilities, and a brand new yachting harbour.

Accurate description, well furnished, clean and well maintained. Owner very friendly and helpful. Pools excellent for young children and adults alike. Well kept and clean. Would recommend. Will definitely be using it again.

We had decided to spend a week in La Azohia without a car and it worked. Just 450 mts. to the beach once we had sussed out the best route. The walk from apartment to beach and the two good restaurants nearby were soon a pleasant routine. We caught the local bus twice-once to Cartagena and once to Mazarron Port-very enjoyable as a change of scene; but the local beach was the winner. The apartment was wonderfully relaxing with good air con and kitchen facilities. Great for the two of us and it would also have worked for 4 friends or a family of 4.

We had a Lovely Relaxing Holiday at La Azohia.
The Apartment was Perfect, exactly as Described, it was very clean and comfortable, well equipped, really didn,t want for anything as it,s all provided.
The Communication with the Owner was First Class, very helpful.
I look forward to my Next Visit and i would most Definately recommend this Apartment.
If you want a nice, peaceful, relaxing, away from it all Holiday, this really is the Place to go.
There are a few very good Restaurants within La Azohia, if your looking for Shops etc. then Mazzaron is only a short drive away.
Perfect.

Pretty, well equipped, relaxing garden apartment

This lovely garden apartment was well equipped, clean and well maintained, with nice gardens and a large private driveway for parking There was plenty of information in the apartment. The pool was very quiet and the security was good all round. The village itself has a lovely spanish feel and there were plenty of things to see and do nearby. Literally steps away from the apartment was a very well run English bar/restaurant, great for a hearty breakfast! Highly recommend a trip to Cabo Tinoso, the abandoned guns on the hills behind La Azohia.
