Price for high season recently reduced to fill final available days - book quickly to secure your stay! This is a fresh and stylishly decorated self-catering apartment. Patio doors lead from the kitchenette at the front and the bedroom separate, both with private terraces. It comes with English TV, including BBC, ITV, Ch4, film4, E4, DVDs and french TV of course! Wifi Internet access is available, heating/ air conditioning, the bedroom has mosquito screen to fall asleep to the sound of nature & the bathroom is stylishly fitted with twin headed shower & full bath. There is another poolside WC & solar-heated shower. The kitchenette provides fridge with icebox, a 2 ring stove, modern fitted units, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, etc. There are no children allowed due to safety considerations. There is easy access to a new in-ground pool, great for topping up the tan! BBQ is available for year-round al fresco eating. Climate ctrl heat/air con. Mountain bikes for hire are available onsite.

With the Canal du Midi & Med beaches a 15 min cycle through vineyards, this is an ideal location to spend lazy days by the pool, explore, shop, lunch by the Canal or enjoy sunset margaritas on a nsandy beach. There are mountain hikes & gorges 30mins away. Beziers has an 18-hole golf (St-Thomas, green fees c.€40). Cap d'Agde is nearby for Ibezan nightlife, naturist resort, international 18 & 9-hole golf courses, driving range, practice areas, etc. Wine lovers follow the wine routes & chateaux of Fitou, Minervois, Corbieres, St Chinian, etc. Béziers is a picturesque city with good shopping. Carcassonne (medieval UNESCO site) is under 1h away and many other Cathar villages. Beautiful historic Pezenas is 20 mins away by car. Enjoy thermal springs near the Pyrenees or continue south to the Spanish border (1.25h) via Collioure & on to Cadaques, the Spanish 'St Tropez'.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We do not charge a cleaning fee providing the apartment is left as found - this is a saving of c.50 - 100 euros compared to other holiday lets. Nights over and above the first week shall be charged at the lower pro-rata rate of your weekly rate.

    50% of your stay's amount is requested to secure the booking and 50% of this is refundable where cancellation occurs prior to 30 days of your arrival date.
  • A security & damage deposit of 100 euros for the apartment, payable upon arrival. This shall be refunded at the end of occupancy providing the apartment is left as found.

    For stays between 1 and 2 weeks we offer pro-rata weekly rates, where a full second week is not required and discounts for stays of more than 2 weeks, depending upon the duration of your stay, when outside of the high season. Please enquire to learn more.

Notes: We are happy to try to accommodate any special requirements however this is a non smoking apartment. The accomodation is also equipped with a hairdryer, coolbox, iron & ironing board. The TV offers all usual UK english channels pus film4, E4 and foreign channels (french of course!). Bicycles can be rented nearby throughout the summer. The accomodation offers wireless broadband access for anyone wishing to access it with own laptop / ipod touch.

Semi Apartment: This apartment is an annex to the main villa each with ample privacy within and on it's own terraces.

Transportation: Although driving is recommended, there are local buses from the village into Beziers regularly and French trains are fast, reliable & reasonably priced for those wishing to avoid driving. Carcassonne, Perpignan and Montpellier airports all provide a bus link (la navette) to their city's train stations and from there trains available to Beziers every hour during day / early evening (less regular after c.7pm - likely every 2 hours). Beziers - Cap d'Agde airport recently opened a new flight with Ryanair from London Luton/Stansted (as of March) & Bristol (UK) and also offers direct flights to Germany, Denmark, Paris & Corsica with German, Danish & French airlines.

Local shops, bars & restaurants : There is a medium-sized supermarket in our village called G20, with also 2 newsagents, 2 Pharmacies, 1 bakery, 1 artisan bakery / patisserie, 1 boucherie/charcuterie & village markets for fresh produce every other day. The hypermarket (HyperU), a Lidl & Aldi (german chain supermarkets) are around 5KM away. In our village there is a very reasonably priced Italian restaurant (also serving some typical french fare), another restaurant Les Colombes serving Pizzas & french food (open during high season only), a wine bistro offering snacks & french food, a local bar offering takeaway kebab / pizza & 2 wine caves & a wine shop offering tastings (the caves are foc). There are 2 gastronomy restaurants no more than 4km away: 'Ma Ferme' ( renowned for steaks cooked on an open grill; all meats reared on their farm) Also L'Harmonie - haute nouvelle cuisine (bookings for both are recommended)

Other Activities: Largest European naturist village at Cap d'Agde.

We enjoyed our holiday. The property is accurately described, clean and well maintained. The pool is excellent.The owners were very friendly and helpful and put a lot of effort into providing good customer service and plenty of information on the local area.There is a cycle track at the back of the villa which skirts around the local vinyards.
The location is within walking distance of local shops and just a short drive from the beach, supermarkets and Beziers. A car is essential but location is ideal for sightseeing, we were able to drive west to Carcassonne and Colioure (near spanish border) and east to Montpelier all within a 1 hr drive.
We flew directly from Bristol to Beziers.It took us just 15mins to drive to the apartment.
A very nice location, conveniently situated, realistically priced and we would recommend to family and friends.
