The apartment is in the historic center, in one of the most typical and popular street of Florence, in via borgo san frediano 16 in front of Piazza del Carmine and near the famous church of Piazza S. Spirito, five minutes walk to Via della Vigna Nuova and Piazza della Repubblica. The palace is dated from the XVIII century. It’s a typical florentine building with stone stairs, located in the neighbourhood of artisans and antiquarians. Romantic Suite 35 is situated on the 3rd floor without lift. Includes a spacious and bright living room with dining area, kitchenette, one bedroom with canopied double bed and a bathroom. Central, elegant, perfect for visiting Florence through short walks around the historic center of the city and, for those who love shopping, there are the atelier of the most famous Italian designers. Ideal for a romantic get away.

Was very disappointed with our stay. Appreciated the early check in although when we returned at the end of the day we discovered the door to the apartment was dismantled and we could not get in. The key locks had been removed and the door was in pieces. The description on the internet says luxury apartment but there was nothing luxurious about it when compared to our other accommodation in Rome, Sorrento and also the apartment in Florence where we stayed for 4 days prior to arriving. The apartment was clean however small and very noisy from traffic below and the public eating and congregating in the piazza below at night. Don’t expect to get any sleep. Fridge and freezer were very small so unable to buy up on stores at the supermarket as they would not fit in the fridge. Third person slept on the sofa bed in the small living area but not blankets were provided, just sheets. Close to main attractions. Not worth the price charged. Mine who met us spoke English well.
Owner's Response: The door was dismantled because the owner sent someone to fix the doorklock that day. As i did not know anything about the work i could not inform you about it.

I think it was normal to be noisy because it was the independence day of Italy and there were celebrations everywhere.

Perfect location--close walking to all the major sites. I would rent this apartment on my next trip to Florence!
