Both are easily accessible by car from Palaia, although travelling by train is a more relaxing way to visit Florence as driving and parking in the city can be a tough ask.

The nearby village of Colleoli is a real asset for tourism in Palaia. The spa facilities are wonderfully luxurious, and a great place to relax after a day investigating the Tuscan countryside.
