Make a holiday rental villas or property in the Philippines your home away from home

There are some 7,000 islands that make up the Philippines, all of which have a unique atmosphere, yet all share in their stunning natural beauty and warmth of their inhabitants. The largely laidback atmosphere, widespread use of English and cheap flights make Philippines holidays fantastically accessible from the UK, and as more people return from Philippines holidays with tales of stunning surroundings, excellent food and bountiful coral reefs to explore, more and more people are taking the trip to Philippines accommodation.

Things to do in the Philippines

The Philippines are well known for their sun, sand and sea holidays. There are almost infinite beaches in which to relax, and the coral filled waters make Philippines holidays the perfect solution for snorkelling trips. The waters of the Western Pacific are the warmest in the world, and as a result, the tropical marine life here is absolutely phenomenal, known to be the highest marine biodiversity in the world, with over 2,000 species of fish alone. The Philippines are an excellent surfing destination too. You will never have to share a break with other surfers.

The Philippines are one of the most undiscovered holiday destinations in the world. There is still so much to discover, and so many islands to investigate that should you seek adventure, love the feeling of discovery and want to relax without another tourist in sight, Philippines accommodation is an absolutely perfect option. The scenery of the Philippines are absolutely beautiful. The turquoise seas and shear cliffs make for sensational viewing too.

There are over 60 different ethnic groups living in the Philippines, and as a result, the mixed cultures make for quite wonderful holidays. The cuisine is hugely varied, with many Chinese and Spanish influences. Fruit is abundant, and many dishes are served with wonderful vegetables cooked in garlic and vinegar.

Weather in the Philippines

The Philippines enjoy warm, humid conditions all year round, with average temperatures of around 28˚C, but the year is divided into two seasons, the wet season, which runs from Jun until November, and the dry season that lasts from December until May, which is considered to be the best time to travel to the Philippines. This is also the period when the most exciting festivals and events occur.

Cheap flights to the Philippines

The two main entry points into the Philippines, Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) and Cabu City’s Mactan-Cebu Airport (CEB), are both well connected to flights in Europe, America and Asia, with flights to the Philippines from the UK largely provided by Singapore Airlines, and taking in the region of 17 hours.
