The visibility is so good in many cases that armed with a snorkel and a kayak, you can see some magnificent sights without the help of an oxygen tank. Deep sea fishing trips in Phuket are some of the most fun to be found, and you can catch trophy fish like sailfish, tuna, reef sharks, dorado and marlin all year round.

Phuket’s nightlife is very lively, very colourful and great fun. Patong Beach is the centre of the loudest parties and biggest crowds, but there are also a huge number of laid back bars and clubs (cabaret, dance and more) in resorts across the island.

British Airways provide a large number of flights to Bangkok (BKK), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Hong Kong (HHP) and Singapore (SIN), from which connections to Phuket are regularly provided. Although this may sound like an ordeal, travel times are remarkably short, and once you arrive in your Phuket accommodation, you will know that it was worth it!
