The main attraction in the centre of the village is the Municipal Museum, a fifty year old collection of local and archaeological artefacts, some of which date back to the Roman and Moorish eras. The collection was formerly the property of American painter Gino Hollander, who once lived in the village and gave away his entire collection when he left and returned to his home country.

The centre of Malaga is just 32km from Pizarra, and the sixth largest city in Spain has plenty of shopping, dining, drinking and historic attractions. The packed beaches and family fun of Torremolinos is also a similar distance away. Closer to base, consider a day trip to Coin (20km), which offers both modern attractions and a rich history.

Pizarra is situated just 29km from Malaga Airport (AGP), a journey which can be made in little over half an hour. The airport is the main transport hub for visitors to the Costa Del Sol, so receives a large number of flights from the UK and beyond.
