Plestin les Greves, Brittany - "Plestin-les-Greves"
Plestin is a pretty village (population 3700 inhabitants) situated near the sea. It has many festivals throughout the summer period, the largest being "La nuit des saucises" which is a musical festival (a mix of contemporary and Breton). The sea front at St Efflam has a very good sailing school where lessons may be taken for wind/kite surfing, kayaking and sea and sand yachting. Guided walks are available along the coastal paths and the ancient Roman villa remains a great attraction. Also, many exhibitions/courses are held at Ti an Holl for painting, sculpture and photography or just relax on the many sandy beaches along the coast. Don't forget the vibrant Sunday street market
