Located in the south, Town is also the commercial and cultural centre of the island, with traditional whitewashed houses with their iconic red tiles roofs. The Archaeological Museum is well worth exploring should you wish to learn a little more of the history and culture of the island.

Although there is not an airport on Poros Island, Greece, a Poros villa rental is still very easily reached from the UK. There are a fantastic range of flights to Athens International Airport (ATH) arriving from airports right across the UK, and from there, there are many options for continuing your journey towards a self catering Poros villa. There are daily ferries from Athens’ Piraeus port, taking 2.5 hours, and Flying Dolphin hydrofoils leave five times a day, taking just 1 hour.
