Praa Sands - The perfect beach....

Praa sands itself is all about the beach - and what a beach! A gorgeous mile long stretch of sand, with rockpools at each end, surfing, body boarding, a great beach bar, various cafes and a great surf shop where you can hire wet suits; boards and book lessons - something for everyone! There is plenty of parking at one end of the beach where all the facilities are; but if you prefer things a little quieter then a short stroll down the beach - or through the sand dunes will take you down towards 'Hendra' which is virtually empty even in the height of the season.

The 'Sandbar' at Praa sands is much more than just a beach bar; it is open all year round serving drinks; teas & coffee and food; it’s a lively place which attracts a real mix of people and is equally child and dog friendly.

Praa sands is perfectly located for exploring the whole of South West Cornwall, equi-distant between the rugged coast around Lands End with the beautiful beaches at Sennen and Porthcurno and the tranquil sailing estuaries of the Lizard Peninsular. Falmouth, St Ives and Truro are within half an hours drive.

There is so much to see and do around the Praa sands area; one week is definitely not enough!
