Temperatures are wonderfully mild in Prato. Conditions feel like summer from the beginning of May until late September, with walking, riding and sightseeing holidays absolutely thriving between these times. July and August can become exceedingly hot, with temperatures routinely soaring into the mid 30’s (˚C) during the midday heat. Even during the winter months, a holiday rental villa in Prato is an excellent getaway, as you would be unlucky to experience temperatures of less than 10˚C.
Cheap flights to Prato, Italy
Florence’s Peretola Airport (FLR) is just 20km from a villa rental in Prato. There are regular, direct flights from London Gatwick arriving into Florence on a daily basis, but taking a hire car from the airport is advised if you are to really get the most out of this part of Tuscany.
