I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this gedm of an apartment by accident. What a find! Beautifully located only a minute from the historic bastide and town centre where the market is held, River Dreaming was perfect. The apartment was bright and clean with a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere.
Ste Foy has great restaurants and so I only cooked in the apartment once, but everything I needed was at hand. I used the apartment as a base for exploring the wine regions of Bordeaux and Begerac and was thankful thatI could park outside the apartment.
Most of all I enjoyed the extraordinary view from the balcony where I had many beautiful breakfasts as I watched the Dordogne and its swans float by. It is hard to imagine a more idylic place to spend a vacation. It was far better then more expensive "tourist" places I have stayed in. Having a train link to Bordeaux and St Emillion was a bonus as I found it easier to leave the car rather than find parking in Bordeaux. Congratulations to the owners on providing such a grand experience to your guests. I will return.
