A number of shops within the village sell locally-produced wines, and sitting outside your holiday rental accommodation, sipping a glass of Chianti under the sun is regarded as the ideal Tuscan experience.
To accompany your wine (or line your stomach!) you will need some food, and Radda in Chianti boasts some friendly and authentic restaurants that sell great food at reasonable prices. Local favourites include La Bottega on Piazza della Torre, and La Peghera di Baccio on Via 20 Settembre.
Make sure you get out into the countryside when visiting the area.
