Three weeks in February

A beautiful and peaceful villa, with an excellent location for visiting Axarquia. The view towards the sea is stunning. We were two adults and one 14 month old child, enjoying a perfect holiday. This was a 5-star experience.
As the kid went to bed early, we were mainly cooking dinners at the villa, which was very nice. The kettles and cooking utensils would deserve to be updated a bit to get to the level of the rest of the experience, but we survived well and enjoyed every evening. Nerja, 20 mins down the road has good supermarkets. The best selection is in SuperSol, which also has free parking downstairs. If you start to feel deprived of a US-style shopping mall experience, Velez-Malaga has one, about 30 mins away.
In February the evenings are relatively cold, so you need to keep the heating on. There are enough heaters, but the fuses blow regularly unless the heaters are plugged in the right sockets, or if the aircon is used with the heaters. We used a floor lamp to find out the different fuse groups and after some testing found the right way to keep the house warm and the fuses on. This, obviously, is something that is of concern only to people who are lucky enough to be able to rent the villa in January or February.
This was a perfect place for three weeks, and we will remember our vacation in Villa Cereza for the rest of our lives.

Owner's Response: We thank 'ilkka, nina and topias' for their kind Review. The kettle and cooking utensils will be updated this Winter. We have also asked a qualified electrican to inspect and alter the wiring to the sockets so that the fuses do not 'trip' when all the heaters and air-conditioning (heating) are being used.
