Excellent 5 bedroom Villa

ScottyJ Glasgow, UK
Review Submitted: August 20, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This is a well kept 5 bedroom villa in a Golf Course community. The villa is 5 mins from Jn 55 of the I4 making it a straight forward 20/25 min drive to Disney, Seaworld, Universal. Busch Gardens in Tampa c 50-60 mins away. The pool is fully "net" enclosed & backs onto a wooded area which makes the location quiet. A lovely well equiped & relaxing Villa to return to after a busy day at the theme parks. Good local facilities - Supermarket (Publix) & restuarants ( Applebees, Craker Barrel). Well worth a visit.

Excellent Orlando Holiday Villa

Gus and Family Edinburgh Scotland
Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Highlands Reserve is a quiet community surrounding an 18 hole golf course. This was the second time we had stayed on Highlands Reserve, but the first time in this villa. The villa was spacious, clean and with all the comfort of a family home. The pool is lovely, very private and got the full sun from early morning 'till late afternoon during July. What we like about Highlands Reserve is its near enough to the parks to be convenient for driving (15 - 20 mins to Disney; 30-45 to seaworld). It also has a real community feel with Publix supermarket within walking distance (great staff and huge selection) along with many restaurants and shops (Mia Pizza is a firm favourite!). The golf course is a challenging 18 hole parkland course with friendly and helpful staff. Play after 3pm during the summer and its very reasonable (club hire, golf and buggy = $44). Our personal favourite places this time round were Disney; Discovery Cove; Aquatica; Seaworld and Florida Mall). The Atlantic coast is an easy 90 minute drive away, but if you are not a good navigator on strange roads make sure you get sat-nav! From Cocoa Beach you can watch the shuttle take off then shop/eat/play. After 3 weeks we were sorry to leave your lovely villa and dream of returning real soon!

This is our second visit to this lovely home. Ideal location about 20-25 minutes from the fun parks and supermarket within walking distance. Away from the hustle and bustle this is the ideal place to relax and unwind, take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi at the end of a busy day!

A super place to stay

Highlands Reserve is a particularly peaceful and attractive community, with a Publix supermarket, takeaways and Applebee's restaurant amoungst others, close by. The photo's don't do justice to the villa, it's very spacious, beautifully appointed and the configuration of the rooms suited us very well, as my parents were able to 'escape' from the children if they wanted too ! Everyone enjoyed the Pool room and the large pool/jacuzzi area, which backs onto woods with an enormous orange tree and is a very nice feature of the house.
The home has a well equipped kitchen and the laundry room was a real bonus !
The owners answered any queries quickly and were extremely helpful as were Ops, the company on hand in resort.
We would highly recommend this home as a peaceful base away from the excitement of the parks.

The perfect place to stay.

Walking into this villa after a long flight with two small children was an exhilarating start to our holiday. We love the layout, which provides ample space for groups as well as private areas. The swimming pool has sunshine until mid- afternoon and was a great hit with the kids, it was sometimes a struggle to get them out & to the parks!
Having a supermarket, take-aways & family friendly restaurant within walking distance was a real bonus. In fact the villa is perfectly located for just about everything in Orlando and a pleasure to return to after a busy day out.
We found the representative of the management company very helpful & informative; the villa is obviously well maintained & cared for.
Having stayed here, we can't imagine a better spot in Orlando. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to spend your holiday. House is all it claims to be and location is handy for most things. You definitely need a car when staying here and it's particularly good for golfers as there's any number of quality courses within 30 mins drive including a decent one on site.

Management company were very good & attended to several minor issues we had during the stay. This wasn't something we considered being a big deal before we went but it turned into a real comfort.

The pool doesn't get much sun which is the only reason I've not given it 5/5.

In summary; a super place to stay, management company great and owners very easy to deal with. Recommended.

This is a very nice property and is really well maintained. The management company (OPS) that the owner uses is very professional and efficient and are the best we have seen in our four years of going to Orlando. A very nice feature for us was the broadband access and unlimited international calls. The pool area gets plenty of sun until late afternoon and the shaded porch has a ceiling fan to help you cool down. The five bedrooms are quite spacious and master bedroom is the largest we've seen with open plan access to the large ensuite bathroom which is a very nice feature. There is a publix supermarket within walking distance along with a few bars and restaurants. Applebees restaurant is very popular and family friendly.
We found the house to be perfect for our family of six.

You couldn't want for anything more in a holiday villa. Position is perfect, close to parks, easy drive to coast, Kennedy Space Centre and within walking distance of superb golf course, shops, restaurants, etc. The house is situated within a safe and quiet community and is the perfect retreat after a busy day out. It is a beautifully appointed house with everything you could wish for to make your stay comfortable. We would love to return as our children actually cried when they had to leave. Enjoy........
