Reviews of Property: Waterfront Cottage on Mayo Beach

Kathleen, we absolutley loved your cottage. "Waterfront" is an understatement! The cottage was exactly as advertised, very clean, comfortable, great location to town center etc...Being only a few steps from the beach was great with a one year old....we didn't have to pack up the car to go to the beach, we could just walk right out the front door! Thanks again.

We stayed in this cottage the week of June 20th-27th, and we just loved it. The weather wasn't the best for us, so we spent a lot of time inside. Let me tell you how lucky we were to be spending that time inside this cottage! It's clean, cozy, and has everything you need. We will definitely be returning to this cottage for some new memories. Thank you Kathleen for keeping such a wonderful cottage!

We were so pleased with our long weekend vacation at this lovely cottage. Everything was just as described. We were worried that the prior guests might not leave the cottage as clean as we expected and Kathleen was true to her word that the cottage would be spotless when we arrived. We soon realized this was a spot we will return to again and again. We loved it! October in Wellfleet was a treat, the crisp air, the blue skies, colorful sunsets & bright stars.

What a fabulous little get-a-away! We loved the convenience to downtown and the water. It was hard to get the kids to come out of the surf...the cottage is so nice and clean and instantly makes you feel comfortable. Kathleen is a pleasure to deal with! We highly recommend this spot as our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cottage #1.

My mother and I stayed for a week at your cottage and it was awesome! To hear the crashing of the waves at night through the bedroon windows was very peaceful. In the week that we stayed the cottage felt like our home. My mother didn't want to leave! She enjoyed just sitting on the bench outside the cottage and looking at the ocean. We'll be back next year!

All I can say is 'wow'! My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend and happened upon this cottage on the internet. Thanks to this beautiful cottage in the perfect location, the weekend was unsurpassed! You can hear the waves at night and see water from every room during the day. We will definitely be back! "Gem" is the perfect word to describe this cottage! This year was our third year staying there, and we plan to go back for years to come. Nothing beats falling asleep & waking up to the sound of waves. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything you will possibly need. Having Mayo Beach at your doorstep makes it seem like your own private beach. Wellfleet is quaint, with restaurants and a seafood market nearby -- and lacks the large crowds found on other parts of the Cape. Every time we go, the hardest part is leaving and knowing we won't be back for a full year! Highly recommended!

Renting a cottage sight unseen over the internet can be tricky - well make no mistake, there is a very good reason this cottage is called #1. It's Great. The pictures on the website are very accurate - clean, modern, water views from every room, quiet area, minutes from everywhere, a week was too short.
That's why we booked it for 2006 while we were there in 2005! Kathleen really has thought of every convenience - perfection - what more could you ask for on your holiday.
