Guests' Comments:

(1) Just a quick note to say thank you for the use of the villa. It was much more than we expected (I actually went out and checked the house number to check that they hadn't shown us to the wrong villa!) and Capistrano itself was charming.

(2) A belated thank you from me, my wife and my daughter for the lovely time we have in your villa. It is a beautiful property and was perfect for us.

(3) Have just returned from your villa, fully enjoyed the stay, particularly the well equipped kitchen.

(4) Just a quick email to let you know that we have had a wonderful holiday staying at your villa in Nerja. The position of it must be one of the best on the site! Views from both the front and rear elevations/balconies are terrific.

Wonderful holiday in Nerja - October 2009

We had a wonderful holiday week in your villa!

The house is really nice and in a beautiful and quite surrounding with a lot of trees and flowers. Nerja is a nice place which is not too much spoiled by tourists and a nice central place for hiking tours in the mountain area. We made one hiking tour in the Sierra de Tejeda and one in Las Alpujarras (out of Rother Wanderfuehrer: Andalusien Sued, available at SuperSol supermarket). We also visited the Alhabra in Granada.
The other days we spend on Burriana beach which is a fine place for swimming, sunbath, paella and drinks.

The information provided on your webside does give a good and realistic overview of what one can expect to find in the house and surrounding. The additional information send later and also available in the house is a good start for all kind of activities.

Thank you very much for having the opportunity to rent your villa.

3 visits -its so relaxing!

Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Have returned from our 3rd visit to your wonderful house and on each occasion have had an enjoyable peaceful time. We all loved the sunny garden and it was especially appreciated by my elderly parents. The facilities on site - swimming pools and shop were very good and the excellent restaurants in the town and at Burriano Beach all made for very relaxing holidays.
The villa has everything we needed, was very clean and is well positioned for visits to the caves and the surrounding countryside including Al Hambara.

Holidaying in El Capistrano - Nerja

I have been twice to this property on the fabulous site of El Capistrano. This property is minutes away from the site pool (which is lovely and large and clean) and also from the shop on site which stocks everything you would need. The property iteself has a fully functional kitchen with every appliance you would need for cooking - we used all appliances on both occasions when we stayed. The lounge area is very comfortable and TV has all stations. The garden is sheltered and is lovely to sit out in. The bedrooms are airy and roomy. The bathroom is also roomy and we have always had lovely had plenty of hot water for showers. The site workers at El Capistrano are very friendly - including the refuse collectors - who come by wheelbarrow and collect the rubbish on the nominated day. We have been with children and just as adults and this property and this site caters for both these types of holiday makers. I am going back for a 3rd time - can very much recommend this property.
oh and before I forget - we walked into Nerja (20 mins) and also walked down to Burriano Beach from this property. You don't necessaryily need a car if staying in Nerja - there are plenty of buses and taxis.

Owner's Response: Please note - Rubbish is longer collected from outside the villa. It needs to be taken to the designated areas for collection.

Great time end of April/beginning of May

We came back yesterday from our holidays in Nerja.

Thank you so much for renting us your house. We had a great time!

Not only we got what we saw in the pictures, but we also found the house spotless clean and the location of the house in the urbanization is just perfect -which you cannot catch in just one picture :-) Wheather was perfect and we enjoyed el Capistrano in full bloom. I also think that the urbanizacion is one of the prettiest in the area. It is such a post card place that we even saw a local bride taking pictures in front of the house! It was all so idyllic that we kept saying "oh, we are so lucky".

Our little daughter loved watering the garden, so you can be assured that plants were well looked after ;-) And she enjoyed the swimming pool better than the beach!

The place is also perfectly localted to visit the Nerja Caves, the Alhambra (just 1.5 hour drive), Malaga and the many different Pueblos Blancos nearby with their local festivities.

Nerja itself is very pretty (no high buildings!) and the beaches are gorgeous. We were lucky not to find it crowded with tourists, so we could enjoy its Spanish charm.

We will be recommending this place to our friends and family and look forward to return!

And thank you for the tip on the chiringuito in Burriana Beach where we had the best "east as much as you like paella" in a long time :-)

Best regards and thank you again!

I would just like to say how much we enjoyed the stay in your villa in Capistrano. The villa had everything that we needed and the location was unique and very picturesque with flowers and trees in full bloom. Just a short walk from the villa was the pool area consisting of three pools a bar and restaurant and we also found the "cave bar" which is open in the evening and made a good sangria. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone looking for something special.
