Villa Review

My family and I stayed in this villa for two weeks in August 09 - myself & my husband, our two children (16 and 13) and my parents (who are in their 60's). All of us had a fabulous holiday and Calis is a lovely place for people of all ages. The villa is spacious and very well equipped and the pool is fabulous - the pool man came every morning. The villa owners - Debbie & Darwin - were helpful from our very first enquiry right through to arranging our transfers to the airport on our return journey. We would highly recommend this villa - in fact we've already re-booked for summer 2010!!
The villa is in a great location and the local dolmus stops at the top of the road. This bus goes into the next resort of Fethiye and costs next to nothing to use - we soon got the hang of the dolmus and enjoyed geting about this way, though the taxis were also very cheap.
In our opinion, there's absolutely nothing negative to write about the villa or Calis.

We spent a week in the villa in mid-July and had an absolutely wonderful time. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised when we first arrived as it exceeded our expectations in terms of size and available facilities. Everything we needed (and more!) was readily available and location wise it was very well placed for our daily excursions further down the coast. The instructions left by Debbie and Darwin were also particularly handy (wouldn’t have figured out the keys otherwise!) as were all the info leaflets on places of interest nearby. The pool was great and the kids loved it, though there was a slight problem with the motor which meant it had to be a bit overfilled (as the friendly English speaking neighbors explained) but the kids soon got accustomed to it. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole place was clean, peaceful and secure. There was also a healthy collection of DVDs, board games, books and inflatable pool floats to keep the kids entertained. It was handy having the next door neighbor (Frank) who spoke good english and was always available in case of an emergency. We would definitely recommend the villa for a family holiday and would recommend some of the excursions particularly Saklikent (Gorge), Patara beach and as a treat the sunset cruise (run by Carole & Tayfun). Also the Megri restaurant in Fethiye offered the best local cuisine and a great atmosphere ! We hope to be back again next summer !

I have just come back from spending a fantastic Easter in your villa. The villa was very large and well equipped we even spent a night in watching some of your DVD's. The children loved the swimming pool which also had flippers, masks and blow up floaty things to keep them entertained. We enjoyed the location as we could get to town very easy and we enjoyed going for walks spotting the goats, sheep and cows grazing along the way!! It was an ideal family holiday, I have come back feeling relaxed and chilled. I would defo recommend the villa to friends and family I will most probably visit again and stay in your villa. The villa was excellent and much as we expected from your decription and web site info.It was spacious and airy and the air conditioning was a real bonus!The pool was super and cleaned every day as promised.The location was great with a nice easy walk into town and buses to further afield. We were impressed with orange and the airport transfer etc went very smoothly , the welcome pack of bread milk tea etc was great as we arrived late at night. They came to see us on our first day to make sure everything was ok and we went on a couple of their excursions which I would recommend to any future customers you have. The fact that they had a 24hr/7 day helpline was also a comfort when we had a powercut one night.As a holidaymaker in a new place this kind of facility offers great comfort and might be something you want to promote.

Firstly we really enjoyed our holiday in Turkey and thought your villa was fantastic. It was well equipped and very spacious. It was the first time that we have rented an individual villa with its own pool and after this experience we plan to rent a villa again for our next holiday.

We thought Calis was a lovely resort and offered excellent value for money. We went on the 12 island boat trip and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We also got the hang of the Dolmus and confidently travelled to various nearby towns and resorts.

We would recommend your villa to friends and should we return to Calis we would certainly consider renting from you again.

Orange were excellent at transporting us to and from the airport and came round to the Villa at the start of our holiday to explain all the details and offer a little local knowledge.

The welcome pack was greatly appreciated and the children really enjoyed watching some of your DVDs.
