Review Submitted: July 6, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
The villa was as described, clean and very well equipped, great location for both golfers and non-golfers.
The owner was very helpful before , during and after the holiday, making sure all was well.
Welcome pack much appreciated.
Would definitely recommend this property and area to friends. Will hopefully be returning ourselves.

Great family holiday

My family and friends of ours really enjoyed our holiday here at Camp de Mar. The house is spacious and well equipped and is ideally located for a wander down to Camp de Mar beach or for for venturing to nearby Port Andratx.

We were very impressed by the speedy response form the local agents when we raised a query with them and we loved the fact that due to the location of the property, there is absolute peace and quiet at night.

Great family holiday

We had a fantastic week holiday at this property. With the 4 bedrooms it was ideal for our 2 families and fitted to a very high standard. We particularly liked the fact that there is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen. The location is also great as it is just 10 minutes walk to Camp de Mar beach with a few bars and restaurants. For keen golfers, it is ideally situated on the 16th hole! The larger resort of Port Andraxt is a short taxi ride away for a larger selection of restaurants and the Eroski supermarket which is much cheaper than the local shops. The owner was really helpful and efficient in the booking process and returning our deposit etc. For families, we would recommend a day visit to the Western Park water park which was great fun.
We had a problem with the air conditioning on arrival but this was quickly fixed by the property managing company.
All in all a very enjoyable week.

September 2008 Vacation

This was an excellent base for our trip to Majorca. Camp de Mar is a small resort with an excellent beach, restuarants and is only 20 mins away from Palma. All the information you require can be found in the large info pack at the villa. This gives suggestions on where to go as well as a lot of info on activities & places on the island.

The property is very spacious and has all the amenities we needed to get through our 2 week stay. The property is next to one of the community pools, which are well maintained, and overlooks one of the greens from the local golf course. It has a sun deck at the top of the villa, as well as a balconies from all bedrooms and a patio with 2 sets of table and chairs for eating or just relaxing. The place was clean and maintained to good level.

The welcome pack was a nice surprise as we had arrived late on a saturday, so the bread, butter, eggs etc took away the hassle of having to shop on the first morning.

The property would be a good base for people wanting to explore the island. If you don't have a car, there is an excellent bus service into Palma, of which the bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk from the villa.

For those who enjoy golf this property would make an excellent location and there are some fantastic golf courses on the island. This would be a perfect base for a group of golfers and I would highly recommend it.

If you do book, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as my family and I did.

A few days of Paradise!

This villa has it all! This was our 3rd year at La Perla - a group of 7 Mums spending some well deserved 'me' time without the kids or husbands! Villa is always immaculate on arrival with welcome pack in fridge. Clean, fresh bed linen, towels etc. Walking distance to wonderful, safe, clean beach with immaculate toilets. Restaurants on/around the beach have a good variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Shops, Bakery, Bank, Spar, Taxi rank, bus stop all within walking distance. Golf is on the door step with Club House a short walk with wonderful views. We've never had to call the Site Agent because everything has always been perfect. Never needed to hire a car with the taxis/bus stop being nearby. The location of this villa means theres something to suit everyone, all within a few minutes from the villa front door! The owner has called me during our stay to check if we're happy with everything. (The only slight observation is that, in the evening when 7 ladies are all putting make-up on, styling hair, having showers etc, the villa could benefit from mirrors in the bedrooms!)

Not having been to this part of Majorca, our choice was based on the owners site decription of the area and property. I can certainly say that we had no disaponitment at all, everything was as described, so much so that we are already planning to make a return visit.
