Great time once again!

Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We have holidayed four times in Nerja and each time we have stayed in this particular apartment which shows how pleased we have been with the apartment, Nerja and the surrounding area.
The apartment is perfect for two people. Each time on our arrival we have found it spotlessly fresh and clean. The apartment is cosy, tastefully furnished and has everything that you could possibly need - well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, sky tv, dvd's, books, beach parasols, you name it, it has the lot.
We love the three terraces. They are delightful with pots of colourful plants and furnished with tables, chairs, sun loungers, sun shades. Each terrace has lovely views over Nerja, the mountains and the sea.
Each time we have used the swimming pool, which is across the road and down a few steps, we have had it all to ourselves.
Nerja old town is charming with narrow streets and interesting shops. A lovely place to stroll in the evenings and it has so many restaurants that we were spoiled for choice.
Burriana beach is a short walk from the apartment and also has restaurants to suit every taste. We especially enjoy a paella at lunchtime at Ayo's.
We had another lovely holiday again this year and we will definitely be going back again.

Fab Apartment & Excellent Booking Service

Suzi & Steven Lanarkshire, Scotland
Review Submitted: August 7, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Just returned from our first visit to Nerja and indeed Spain. This was also the first time we had booked our own accommodation, separate flights and hired a car. We found the booking of this apartment very easy with excellent communication and information provided by the owners. We were anxious that something might go wrong but the owner put us at ease and answered all our queries.

The website information and pictures do not do the apartment justice. We found the apartment to be clean and very well equipped. Whether you plan to cook or not the apartment was worth the money. It was an absolute delight to step out from the sitting room on the first day to discover the three wonderful terraces. Spent a lot of time on the second terrace that we found to be peaceful and private to lounge about on the sunbeds (apart from when the Cicadas hiding in the trees kick off!).

The pool provided some welcome respite from the heat and we often had the pool to ourselves. The only down side to the pool was that there are no sun loungers available. We are not beach lovers and prefer to be around a pool.

Overall the apartment is excellent. The only slightly negative thing we would say is that the bed is not long enough - I am only 5 foot 4 and my feet were touching the footboard. My husband being taller had to sleep in the bed diagonally hence leaving less room for me! This did not spoil our holiday just a point to note.

The website also does not specifically mention the stairs to the apartment (although it does mention that the apartment is not suitable for the elderly or infirm). The stairs were not a problem for us but may be for others.

We felt safe, secure and very comfortable and would not hesitate to return to the apartment should we return to Nerja in the future. Also, we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to our family and friends.

Our holiday was to spend time with family who were staying at another apartment and to generally relax and recharge our batteries. We therefore never did any activities or toured around Malaga. We did find Nerja to be a beautiful place to stay with a lovely beach, fabulous restaurants and friendly people. Hope to return at some point in the future.

Thank you for a great holiday. We loved your property. The different balconies, sun terraces were excellent. Views are spectacular. Stairs were challenging for the first couple of days, would recommend a car. Well stocked, lovely and clean. Many thanks and we will be back.

Want A relaxing holiday, then this is it!

Heat Bucks, UK
Review Submitted: November 13, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Stayed in August 2008. Fantastic property for two, brilliant terraces allow you to follow the sun all day and gain shade if desired! Well equipped. If you want total relaxation, then this location allows you to achieve it. Although in a residential area, very quiet location, good views of sea and only a short downhill walk to the beach and shops. The walk back is more testing in the heat of August and the steps to the apartment are a bit testing, especially when carrying shopping!
Pool is a short walk down two flights of steps, so not as inticing as having it on the property, but if you really want a cool dip, then needs must.
There is a large supermarket about 5 mins drive away.
Don't miss out on the fantastic areas around, Ronda is well worth the drive as is Granada with the fantastic Alhambra.
Would recommend this apartment and area to anybody wanting a quiet relaxing holiday and the opportunity to take in some of the best areas of Spain.

Burriana beach apartment Nerja

Scaz North Somerset
Review Submitted: October 4, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
My husband and I stayed at this cosy apartment in January 2008 and were able to make use of the lovely outdoor terraces, enjoying lunch whilst soaking up warm sunshine. The apartment is ideal for 2 people and we had access to heaters when the evenings were a little chilly. Decorated in warm, mediterranean colours and very well equipped, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only drawback is a rather steep approach to the area and further steps to the apartment, so would present difficulties for those less mobile. The owners were a pleasure to deal with via e-mail and all arrangements worked without a hitch.

We had a very lazy time, well as lazy as you can have with 2 children aged 10 and 7, in July/Aug 2008. It was marvellous and busy but not full of yobs, people were all like minded and plenty families and friends for the children. We spent most afternoons on the beach and stayed swimming in the sea until 8-9pm at night it was great. If you eat out most of the beach front bars do nice food just watch you bill - as they can tend to add things on you haven't ordered! No complaints at all pool lovley and clean and hardly anyone in but us most of time.
thanks again.

Three terraces flat, with beautiful views!

The wonderful place for people looking for sun. Wonderful three terraces with breathtaking views !!! Evenings on the terrace in such a quiet place make this place a good choice for someone who needs a rest from busy life. Thanks to air-condition in the bedroom, I felt quite well
in the mornings. Nights in Spain in July are very hot, and without air-condition are quite difficult. The only thing I didn't like were the stairs.
But the beautiful views from upstairs make it worth climbing!!!!

A LAZY PERSON'S GUIDE TO NERJA

SMITHYCROFT GLASGOW
Review Submitted: July 18, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This apartment was just about perfect for us - we didn't plan to do much in the July summer heat and spent much of our daytime sitting on the top terrace which was shaded by a cane covering and which was high enough up to catch any gentle breeze going. The property was well-prepared and although at the top of a number of steps, we took that as part of our daily exercise. The pool seemed like it was just for us since no one else seemed to use it. The owners were very helpful and prepared us well for the visit - no surprises. We didn't want to use a car and they explained clearly what that would mean for us - eg getting to a decent supermarket etc. (A walk uphill of about 15 minutes). We liked being a little away from the buzz of old Nerja and loved the 15 minute stroll there each evening. We know that there are a number of good places to see around this area and normally we would have looked at some of them but this apartment was just right for us this time and for anyone needing to "de-frazzle" and breathe the air. Some others without a car might find the steps/hill an issue but if you are fairly fit (we are mid-50s) and don't plan to run up and down several times a day, we wouldn't let this put you off the property. The views of the sea and the mountains from the 3 terraces make the climb worthwhile. It was truly a quiet cul-de-sac and in the evening the surroundings were very peaceful - even on the evening when Spain won Euro 2008! The apartament is quite small on the inside but the outside spaces more than made up for this. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and the owners as long as people were made aware of some of the issues above.

We stayed at this apartment in March of this year and had an absolutely brilliant time. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment is gorgeous and the three balconies make it a real sun trap. Its in a lovely quiet location and has everthing you could need for a great holiday. Once you get used to the hill and the steps (the H2O Bar and the Chameleon Restaurant make them worthwhile) it is the perfect place to chill out and we hope to return again before the end of the year.
