This place was all we hoped for and more. The pictures (which haven't been updated since the unit was updated) don't show all its amenities such as the hand hammered, copper kitchen sink, or the high end appliances, or the balcony where we breakfasted each morning overlooking the pedestrian mall. Gene/Kate were totally helpful and concerned that we enjoy our stay, and we did! Two notes: Unlike the rest of the unit, bathrooms have not been redone. They are fine, just not at the level of the rest of the place. Also, summertime guests who sleep with windows open may find the early AM noise of Vail Village a bit jarring. Starting 6-7 AM service trucks and workers bustle down the pedestrian mall prepping for the day. Not a problem when we were rising early to hike or bike but noticeable on the days we were lazy. Probably not an issue in winter.
In summary, a great place for a good value. We would definitely return to this rental and have already recommended it to friends. Thanks Gene and Kate!

This rental was everything that Gene promised. Great snow on Vail coupled with the great location to the mountain made for quick access. With the great location, we were able to be one of the first few people on the lift every morning without having to race out of bed to do it! It was also great to get off the mountain to grab some apres' action and only be minutes from the condo. This place, along with great snow, made our annual ski trip the best one yet.
