Reviews of Property: 3 Bed ground floor apartment for the price of a 2 bed 10 min from the beach.

I have stayed in Son Bou apartments many times but this apartment was by far the best. As a party of two adults and two children (1 and 3) this apartment catered for our every need. The little ones had their own rooms and the DVD player with great selection of films kept them entertained. There are lovely gardens surrounding the apartment where they could run around safely. The bathroom was great with a really good shower and having the washing machine was definitely a luxury. The double glazed windows kept out any noise too and this seemed to be one of the only apartments which did have double glazing. Apartment is in a great location and is only a 10 min walk to the beach. I would recommend Cafeteria Son Bou for a really great meal. Fiona provided excellent customer service and replied instantly to any queries. If you want your home comforts when on holiday then this is the apartment for you.

Stayed at apartment for one weeks holiday. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The dvd player was a god send for an early rising 3 year old. Good selection of dvds provided. Bedrooms were great as was the bathroom.
The surrounding gardens were immaculate and very clean. Great complex with lovely pools especially the one behind zone 5 reception with La Gondola Pizzeria. Good food at reasonable prices with great staff.
There was good entertainment on the complex too.
The beach was a little further away but nice and clean.
Reception staff very helpful with local information.
Fiona was very helpful advising on transfers from the airport before leaving.
I am sure we will be returning to Menorca again and we will definately be staying in this apartment again.

We have just returned from 2 weeks holiday, family with 2 young children. We all had a wonderful holiday, the apartment was fantastic, really spacious and comfortable. The apartment was well maintained and very clean.

Given the extremely hot weather, it was a welcome retreat for all for a few hours a day to watch a DVD, listen to music and have a wee siesta!

The local bus service is faultless, very cheap and easy to find your way to various points on the island. Would strongly recommend a trip to Mahon for the glass bottom boat trip - our two kids loved this, so did mum and dad!

The airport transfers were also really smooth, no problems and so little hassle - fantastic.

The owners of this property could not have been more helpful and were always very quick to respond to any queries we had before departing.

We (a party of seven - four adults and three children) have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday staying at this apartment. It was great - the apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of linen (including fluffy white towels!) for us all. Perfect position being so close to the pool. We were very impressed with the tidiness of the complex and the entertainment offered. We ranged in age from 6 to 58 and it suited us all! Will recommend to family and friends and would love to return one day. Thanks to Fiona and Mick for their help.

We had a really great time at this apartment. It's ideally situated on the complex - short walks to all amenities yet quiet. Walking around, you can tell its one of the more 'cared for' properties. We ate outside every day for all meals (if we were home). No parasol to try and manoeuvre - it was a proper stone roof for shade.

It's a bit small inside - particularly the kitchen - and we did miss having British TV (I know it's a bad thing to say). But the bedrooms were a decent size and it's well equipped. Most importantly, it's clean!

The complex was quiet when we were there in May and the water slide wasn't open. The super market sells most things and is not the most expensive we visited. I can't rate the bakery round the back of the supermarket highly enough and there's a kids park at the back of there that we only discovered in the 2nd week.

This is a great place for families. Lots of grass for the kids to run on and it's a short walk to Son Bou - our 2 year old managed it easily.

This is our 2nd time at the Son Bou Garden apartments and we will definately be going back a 3rd time.

Firstly the resort, excellent, I have been to a few resorts in Menorca and Son Bou is my favorite, excellent beach, good variety of restaurants and Bars and a few things just for the kids like trampolines and train rides etc.

The Son Bou Garden apartments are outstanding, maximum of 2 stories, and all amid masses of well looked after grass so the kids can play and make friends or so you can sunbathe if they need a sleep in the day, there are 3 pools one with some waterslides and a couple of restaurants/bars, supermarket, bakers, scuba shop and medical center, the evening entertainment is really good quality as well.

The apartment has everything, and is really well maintained. 3 bedrooms, 1 with a bunkbed and the 2 sofa beds in the lounge area mean that 8 or 10 people can really stay here.
TV and DVD, Radio, Washing Machine, Microwave and a proper shower (not the usual holiday showers) are all here.
It really looks like any improments are done with quality in mind.

Also some nice creature comforts such as a few games, cards, and lots of books make it really homely.

We stayed in a different apartment in the same complex a few years ago and they simply do not compare with this one, especially as its also a ground floor one.

Just perfect for us and we will definately be back, Thanks Fiona and Mick.

Many thanks for all your help with booking the flights and organising the car hire, we can not wait go go back next year and the kids are pestering us go go back in May as well as in June.
The beach was great as was the pool and thank you for the information pack of idea's of things to do if your not by the pool or the beach.
The restuarants you recomended were wonderful as was the bars as well. The apartment was so much more spacious and homely compared with some of the others we could see in.

We have now been to this apartment for 4 years running, and each year Fiona & Mick add something more each year.
The whole apartment has been totaly renovated and is the most modern apartment on the complex that we have seen.

The apartment is well equiped with toys, book's cd's and inflatables etc, we are a family of 6 and the 3 bedrooms made such a difference com,pared when we stayed in a 2 bedromm 5 years ago.

Fiona was very helpful in assisting with flights and car hire
recomending restuarants and where to go for activities for us and the children.

I would recomend this resort and apartment to anyone
