Reviews of Property: Unique Private Walled Villa with Heated Pool

Villa Monzon was AWESOME!!! What a great way to spend a four day weekend with all of your best girl friends! The pool was so fun, and the privacy is great! The neighborhood is quiet and never once did any of us six girls feel nervous about the area. We never heard any neighbors, traffic, anything! We spent most of our time out on the patio near the pool, and it was beautiful. The house was clean, and odor free, (which is a big deal to me!) We are already thinking about making our next trip out to AZ. with our spouses, and staying at the Villa Monzon. The golf course is right across the street, and I'm sure the men would love that! Ashley (the owner I believe), was very helpful and was pleasant to work with.
We had a great time, and will stay there again for sure!

Our experience at Villa Monzon was one of our favourite places yet that we have rented. For us it was the perfect location. We come to Tempe for Spring Training for the A's. Villa Monzon is in a quiet neighborhood, when you are sitting by the pool, you don't even know that there is a street on the other side of the wall. It is well-maintained, the furnishings are beautiful, beds are comfortable. You feel like you are on holidays. I already have recommended this property to many of our friends and we will definitely rent Villa Monzon again.

We just completed our second stay at Villa Monzon. It has sort of become our spring vacation place to visit. The constant sunshine, dry climate, relaxed pace of life, scenery, friendliness, politeness, and attractions of the area are vvery refreshing after our usual miserable northeast weather. Ashley is a great host and this time was able to hurriedly make a fast turn over from the private renter to accommodate our arrival. The pool area is worth the price of the rental alone. The privacy, the heater, the deck and the layout are the very best. The house is always spotless and everything always works. The neighborhood is quiet except for the occasional humorous grunts from across the street from someone who hit a wayward golf shot (I can relate to this). It remains accessible to the myriad of activities including sports, culture, museums, music, etc. This time around (other than loafing around the pool) we did the Apache Trail, a DBacks game, downtown museums, a show in Peoria, the zoo, and some shopping. We can only hope that our busy schedules will allow us another visit some time soon.

This is our second year spending a full week at the Villa Monzon in the spring, and it remains our top choice for stays in the Tempe/Scottsdale area.

The villa is tastefully and beautifully furnished, with very nice furniture and decor. The towels are fluffy, the sheets are smooth, and the leather couch in the soothing living room is comfy for lounging.

We absolutely love the warm, soothing swimming pool and enjoyed meals out by the pool most evenings. Unlike many vacation rentals, which have somewhat spartan furnishings, the place is completely outfitted, all the way down to extensive tupperware in the kitchen cabinets to allow you to enjoy offsite picnics. We cooked many meals in to enjoy on the patio, and never found the kitchen, appliances, or utensils lacking.

The patio area makes for a great outdoor entertainment space, and the neighborhood is quiet, homey, and comfortable.

Looking forward to 2010 at the Villa Monzon!

Four guys were looking for a place to relax after 10-12 hours of watching practice with the minor leaguers and then the spring traing games.
WE FOUND IT!!!!
Our accomadations were very local to all of the parks and most of all they were very cosy. The description of the house was perfect to the tee. Everything we needed was provided as said and we din't wish for a thing. The pool was very relaxing and heated, which was extremely important if you were going to swim at night. We have stayed other places and never used the pool because of this reason. If there was one thing we could have used was maybe more than one tv. Two of the people I travel with like to fall asleep to the tv. They made due and it was not a problem. After all the beds were large and comfortable. Overall, one of the best places we have stayed in Arizona during the past ten years and are looking forward to doing it again.

This villa is like staying in a private villa on a resort. When you get inside the home, pool, and courtyard, you truly feel as if you're in your own private world. Very private, quiet, comfortable, due to being located in a good neighborhood. Once leaving the neighborhood, access to all the valley has to offer is easy to access. The value is far greater than staying at any fancy resort or hotel.

My wife and one year old had a great time utilizing the comfy beds, full kitchen, living room, and of course the wonderful and warm pool. During the day, we journeyed out to baseball games, the zoo, shopping; all with ease.

When returning, it felt like home as we would use the kitchen and outdoor gas grill and swim. At night, the comfy beds were great.

We plan to go to Spring Training every year as an annual family vacation. We don't anticipate staying anywhere else but Villa Monzon.

We stayed at Villa Monzon for 3 nights and it was very pleasant and excellent value for money. We were visiting family in Tempe and needed a place where we could spend most of the day, and this was definitely a better choice than staying in a hotel.
Our party included a small child, and a cot was provided, which was very helpful.
The description is accurate in every way.
The house is clean, modern, comfortable, quiet and conveniently located. The swimming pool is larger than it appears in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. One negative point is that the air conditioning is quite noisy in the queen bedroom.
We chose to stay here on a personal recommendation, and I'd have no problem recommending it to anyone.
I'm looking forward to staying there again next time.

We had a wonderful time in the Villa Monzon. Everything we needed was provided for us. It was just like being at home. The home was very comfortable and decorated very tastefully. We absolutely loved the pool. The home was centrally located and was close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We were able to take a lot of day trips which was wonderful. We would definately go back again.
