This was my 1st ever holiday abroad, and I have to say that it was everything I had hoped for. The apartment was spotless and comfortable and there was someone available whom I could contact if there were any problems. The complex where the app was situated was beautiful, clean and so pleasant that I regretted having to leave. The surrounding area had every amenity that you could wish for, it was beside all the main shops, markets. restaurants and pubs...and yet , once inside the beautiful apartment, you had total peace and quiet, so that you could be sure of a peaceful nights sleep. I have to recommend this apartment, and the area where it is situated.

Owner's Response: Garden City is close to everything you could want and once on the complex it is peaceful. A security guard patrols the complex so it is ideal for women who want to get away to have that extra sense of security.
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants and a choice of 2 sandys beaches which is probably why Garden City is one of the most popular complexes.

We have used these appartments on 2 occasions and have always found the appartment clean and comfortable, and would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends and family. The facilities on the complex are very good and everything is within a short walking distance. The complex is quiet at night enabling a good nights sleep! A telephone number is provided for any problems should they have arisen and the booking process is quick and easy. 10 out of 10!!!

Owner's Response: Pleased you had a good time once again. The apartmetns are proving very popular as more and more people turn to self catering - even though most people eat out - it still works out cheaper than a hotel and with much more freedom.
The faciliites on Garden City are som of the best around and with everything within an easy walk it is a good choice.
Don't forget to try out the new Siam Park - within walking distance and it boats one of the larges water chutes in the world.

Having stayed in this Apartment last year we were so happy and pleased we decided to go back again and was not disappointed. The complex is lovely and the apartment is in a block of four at ground level. The pool is directly opposite the apartments and the bar is just a few steps away. There are local buses which will take you anywhere on the island and the complex is itself in a great place as it is near the sea, shops, pubs, restaurants, a large supermarket and these are even telephones on site so you do not have to wander about looking. I would recomment this complex and am hopefully planning to revisit next year.

Owner's Response: All the studio apartments on Garden City are popular. It is easy to catch a bus to most places on the Island and the Bus Station is only a short walk away. If you plan to use the bus regularly to explore the Islandduring your stay you can purchase a 'Bono' card and the fares are even cheaper.
But most things are within an easy walk with the beach only a five minute stroll and a shopping centre only a two minute stroll away.

Very nice clean friendly complex near to all the facilities, and only a pleasant walk to veronicas and cheap taxi return. The accomodation was ideal bathroom was clean and modern, lots of utensils within the kitchen area and supprisingly big for a studio apartment. only downfall for us was how squeeky the beds were but as a whole we were very pleasantly suprised for value for money and the added touch of the books and beach mats available made it, only suggestion we would have is to have a umberella for the balcony as it was very lovely being so close to the pool and when back in the apartment eating or just wanting to get out the sun the balcony was to hot which is lovely for some but the option of shade would have made it complete, would recommend to a friend.

Janet is on hand in case guests have any problems and she would have sorted out any problem with the beds which are regularly replaced.
The balconies do get a lot of sun and I will check out supplying parasols. It is really good to receive feedback from guests.
The new Siam Park is opening shortly and this is in walking distance of Garden City making it one of the winning places to stay.

We have stayed in apartments owned by this lady several times now and have always found her to be extremely accomodating. All are furnished to a good standard with all you need for a self catering holiday, including safety deposit etc. Her rep in resort is easily available and any problems are always attended to a.s.a.p.
They are well situated within easy reach of several beaches and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Are returning again Christmas and new year and would not hesitate to recommended to friends and family.

Garden City is so ideal being close to the beach plus it has the added bonus of a heated pool in the winter. Even though the days are still hot the water cools quickly in the cooler evenings.

nice apartment but needs updating and the floor was not very clean. The shower was a big problem as you only get warm water for two minutes and then you have to wait one hour for more. very busy complex and a job to get a sun bed. would not recomend to a friend we just used it to sleep in which was fine.

Owner's Response: This was the easter week so the whole area was bound to be busy. If th main pool is busier it is always much quieter and sunbeds are usually available at the second pool to the rear of the complex (most people don't bother to use this pool - which I prefer).
This apartment had a new kitchen fitted about 18 months ago.Plus a new sofa, bedspreads and curtains were fitted the end of last year. so not sure what else needs updating. Perhaps it was just not to your taste as it is impossible to please everyone all of the time.
Janet is on hand in case of any problems regarding cleaning or maintainance but I don't think you contacted her. Luckily problems rarely occur but any reported problems are always dealt with promptly.

Enjoyed a good week in 1 bedroom apartment. Quiet location to the rear of the complex, but a short walk to the pool, bar etc.
Plenty of good food available in the restaurants next to the Apartments and the pool bar had good entertainment at night.
Easy access for buses and taxis - well worth a visit.

Owner's Response: Garden City is a well run complex ideal for families and couples. There are plenty of restaurants which cater for all tastes just outside the complex. There are international restaurants inlcuding Indian, Chinese and Thai, Spanish and English and why bother cooking breakfast in when you can buy a full English for around two pounds.

very good accomodation.lovely position by the pool with plenty of sunshine.ground floor so it is ideal for elderly or disabled.right at the heart of all facilities yet suprisingly quiet.would definitely use again.

We have just got back from spending a fabulous week at Garden City. The studio was situated in a good location which was alongside the pool. We found the studio to be very spacious, exceptionally clean and well equiped, would definitely use again.

Stayed in your studio 14 - 21 Dec 2007, Very pleased indeed, the studio is indeed in an excellent poolside location. Exceptionally clean and has all the amenities you could want for a great holiday. The studio is quite large and there is plenty of space to move around.
