What a great condo! What a great price! Unless you need to be right on the beach don't pass this condo up.
So comfortable, great ocean view, quite and fully stocked. Boogie boards, coolers, tennis rackets/balls,etc., everything you would want for activites without having to buy them and ship it home.

Great Place - Even Better than Advertised

Momoffour Evanston, IL
Review Submitted: August 19, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
I totally agree with the previous reviewer. Our family of 6, including 4 teenagers, has rented many condos over the years, in various vacation spots, and this one ranks among the best. It was spacious, comfortably furnished, clean, with spectacular views. The location was perfect -quiet and peaceful, but close to shopping, restaurants and beaches, including Magic Sands beach (our favorite). The extras, such as boogies boards, snorkel equipment and beach chairs were a much-appreciated bonus. Kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked dinner almost every night. We also enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling, lunching in Waimea (great restaurants there), seeing the volcano, running and biking. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or family member.

Excellent Place to Spend a Week in Kona

Michael & JJ Austin, Texas
Review Submitted: July 24, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
This property had a lot going for it: well-appointed and comfortable, a location on Ali'i Drive, located close to shopping and dining venues, quiet, clean and peaceful, and. most of all, a killer view of the Pacific Ocean and the 10th and 18th fairways of the Kona Country Club.

JJ and I spent the week of July 6-12 at this wonderful condominium, and would happily consider spending more time here again. Although Kona's Ali'i Drive can be noisy and crowded, this property was far enough to the south of town to avoid the traffic and pedestrian congestion that is often an annoying characteristic of Kailua-Kona's "party street".

The Keauhou shopping center is about a quarter-mile to the north, and offers an excellent and well-stocked grocery store, a natural foods store, a cinema, a drugstore, and numerous bar and restaurant choices. As golfers, we enjoyed the aforementioned Kona Country Club golf course, and the pro shop was located about 1500 yards to the south of the property.

Families will appreciate the upstairs bedroom loft in the condo, which is perfect for the keikis (Hawaiian for children). There are two other bedrooms, and the master has a fantastic view. No air conditioning is provided, but none is needed - even in July, the cool Pacific breezes had us reaching for the covers at night.

Cooks will find virtually any appliance or device they need in the small but efficent kitchen, and there is a gas grill on the lanai. You'll want to serve all your meals on the lanai to enjoy the perfect Kona weather and views. The property has three swimming pools, and we rarely encountered anyone during our frequent swims.

We only had one issue during our stay: we couldn't light the gas grill. However, we e-mailed the owner (a very nice woman), she responded to us promptly with instructions, and we were able to enjoy our grilled steaks without delay.

As we've noted, this was a near-perfect locale for our week spent in Kailua-Kona, and when we return we'll be happy to reserve these accommodations again. Highly recommended by Michael and JJ......

Wonderful Kona Condo

Curtis Family Orange County, California, USA
Review Submitted: May 13, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
This place was perfect for my family of five! The pictures were truly representative of what the view and condo were like. It's a 3rd floor unit in a small complex at the southern end of Keahou. Very quiet with easy access to the nearby Keahou Shopping Center and downtown Kona. The owner is extremely helpful and the management company was pleasant & professional. This place is fully stocked with everything you'll need for a relaxing day at the beach; coolers, chairs, mats, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, etc.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo - everything was just as described only better. We had all the amenities we needed and the condo was spotless. We had lovely grilled fish dinners on the lanai and enjoyed snorkeling at several beaches. The ironman was an unbelievable experience and we have great memories to look back on. Thank you!

We loved staying in this condo - everything was as described - only better. It was spacious and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Snorkel equipment was great and we enjoyed relaxing meals on lanai. Ceiling fans kept us cool and relaxed day and night. It was easy to get into town but quiet and low key at the condo. Thanks!

We truly enjoyed your home and thank you for sharing. We had a great time and took full use of the Great Blue Book you sent to us. We picked a few, well many highlights from the book and found them to be right on. The in house washer and dryer worked out well for us. I would say, " If this is your 1st time to the Big Island pack light you can always wash it " Again thank you. PS Your Housekeeper does a great job. and she was very kind.

This condo was exceptionally clean and quiet. It was located very close to grocery shopping and only a few minutes down Allii drive along the water to Kona. I have already recommended this condo without hesitation to family and friends. The views at sunset are spectacular!!!

We had a wonderful time at this condo in April 2006. We can't wait to go back again and hope we can book it again next year. Next time we all want to stay longer, there is too much to see and do for one week. I have two 12 year olds and a 9 year old who can't wait to be certified scuba divers after this trip. The kids counted 20 sea turtles and learned the names of a dozen Hawaiian fish during the week. What a wonderful trip. Your condo was perfect for my family. Years ago we stayed at several expensive hotels on the big island. I would much rather stay in this unit where we parked a few feet from the condo door, had an upper unit which seemed very private, and had absolutely no hassles. We loved the location.
Thanks!
