Our Excellent Holiday At 'Casa Mia'

Mick and Jenny Bedfordshire
Review Submitted: October 26, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2007
I would thoroughly recommend this property. It is furnished to a very high standard and was in immaculate condition through-out when we arrived, everything was spotless. The description of the villa was better than the listing. The decoration is of a very high standard. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all modern appliances including a large fridge freezer and washing machine and every utensil you can imagine! We loved to sit out on the veranda of an evening and relax in the landscaped garden with a glass of wine. The pool area is very nice with plenty of sun loungers to relax and soak up the sun. The villa is in walking distance to the harbour where you will find lots of shops and restuarants. Pam and Clive were in contact with us during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. Clive even supplied us with very detailed instructions of how to get to the villa from Paphos Airport, which were excellent.
We are looking forward to booking another holiday in Paphos and would not consider staying anywhere else than 'Casa Mia', can;t wait to get back

Owner's Response: Thanks for you coments they are typical of what we get all the time in the visitors book. Having stayed in other villas ourselves we knew that we wanted to take our standard of accomodation to the next level. we aim to please which is why guests come back time & time again

Luxurious Villa Casa Mia - Oct 2009

Rena, Linda and families Inverness, Scotland
Review Submitted: November 16, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Our party enjoyed a lovely holiday at Casa Mia from 12 - 20th October 2009. The owners have gone to great trouble to furnish the villa to a very high standard, much superior to your average holiday let. The furniture, soft furnishings, artwork, right down to lovely floral arrangements, gave the villa a very comfortable and homely feel. It was also immaculately clean. We spent a lot of time in the garden terrace for meals and although the pool was not directly accessible from the villa, it was only a few steps round the corner. A couple of minor maintenance issues were very swiftly resolved by the local caretaker, who was very helpful. We have 2 children who loved the local waterpark ( although it was very overpriced in our opinion). We only ate out a few times, but would recommend Argo and Alkion which had reasonably priced set menus, with freshly cooked food with a local flavour. Would love to return to Paphos in the future and would stay here again.

Casa Mia really is accomodation another level up from anything I have stayed in. Every effort seems to have been made to make the villa comfortable and stylish and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The villa was more than just a rental property, it was filled with home comforts and gadgets that made us feel at home.

Thanks for a wonderful holiday. Can't wait to come again!

my wife and i have stayed at casamia with four of our freinds ,twice over the past two years or so once in august and once at christmas, the villa stunning and no expence spared inside and out,it is only a ten minutes stroll down to paphos where you will find night life,or relaxing bars and restaraunts,or just a nice stroll down the sea front, it has somthing for all taste all our party enjoyed the villa it made the holiday so much more special for us all, the air conditioning is a must for me and not many other villas have it, i can recommend casamia for a good holiday in comfort and style

Holiday Of A Lifetime

Review Submitted: October 25, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Without a doubt the most Fantastic Villa I have ever stayed in.
Clive & Pam have thought of everything and what an incredibly high standard. We loved the pool and it was nice that you could retreat to the garden when we wanted peace & quiet.
We Hired a car through the web site & it was very good value
Will be back in 2010

Holiday from Hell!

Review Submitted: October 7, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We have serious outstanding issues relating to problems encountered throughout our stay which prevent us from recommending, but we will agree the Interior of villa, patio garden and roof terrace, although compact, are quite nice. However there is no direct access from the house to the pool - you have to leave the house by the front door and walk 50 metres round the street to enter the pool area. The surrounding area was far from peaceful during our stay and is very 'built-up'. The satellite tv signal 'breaks up' at 6pm every day and you can only receive news channel until about 11pm. We hired a car from the airport which gave us the freedom to get out and about and explore.
Owner's Response: The Coments made by this Guest do not relate to the villa its self. They Had a Bad Storm the Day they arrived (we cannot control the Weather). The Weather caused a Problem with the pool so we made arrangments for them to use another pool close by and even took them there to see it. Pictures on the website clearly show that the property does NOT overlook the pool all previous guests have found this to be an advantage as they can retreat to the private garden or sun terrase if there are noisy children in the pool. The location of the property is in the middle of a residential area with NO building work taking place near the Villa. To receive Sky in Cyprus requires a 3m Dish which we have as in the UK the signal is affected by adverse weather and it is normally possible to watch ITV or BBC chanels and record them on the Video that is provided if a program clashes with eating out because of the 2 hour time difference. The day after they arrived I spoke to them and I was told they did not like the area and we feel they were determined not to enjoy themselves
This is the first negative comment in 6 years I guess even we cant please everyone.

Our stay at Casa Mia August 2009

Review Submitted: August 20, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This is a very high quality villa in a good, peaceful location. It was beautifully clean and had many home-from-home features such as Sky TV and a big freezer. It is very well equiped with high quality modern furniture and fittings and white marble flooring. The air conditioning was very effective (a consideration in Cyprus!) Local supermarkets offered a good quality of local fish, meat and fresh foods, we even found vegitarian sausages etc. available. Made full use of the BBQ and outdoor terrace at night but plenty of local restaraunts available too. Lots to do in and around Pathos- World Heritage site. Good local wine from Sterna vineyard nearby. Would definately recommend this to a friend. Owner very helpful with good advice on car hire and route planning. Web site shows accurate pictures and discription.

lovecyprus cyprus during the winter months
Review Submitted: December 13, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2008
the idea of spending winter in cyprus is to get away from that cold english weather here in the uk and, also spending more and more winters too, by the sun.

i do need support on any holidays like that, or else i would be feeling more lonely and anxious with out any support.

theres bound to be some english speaking person around kato paphos that may or will be able to support me during my two week stay by the sun.

some local english speaking support worker, that will be able to support me and, also be able to help me too, with the things i may need to get such as the food shopping and, also the things i may need as swell.
