If you are looking for a place to toss your Blackberry and be right on your own private beach then this is the place for you. We stayed there July 7, 2007 - July 16, 2007 and I nearly cried when we had to leave. The cottage is modern and roomy and lovely and felt like home in it's own tropical paradise. We did not see one person until the last day of our visit and the cottage is extremely private. The beach out front is beautiful and I recommend that you rent snorkeling equipment in town to take full advantage of it. We explored the reefs up and down the beach. The cottage owners also leave a book in the cottage that tells you about some of the area beaches. I highly recommend you GO and SEE these beaches. They are the most amazing things you will ever set your eyes on. The cottage is supplied with all the towels you need and even beach chairs, bags, coolers for picnics and floats. We cooked most of the time we were there but there are some great places to eat in the area. Tippys which is by Club Med Beach and Sunset Cafe off of the main road. I will be trying to visit Pink Sand Cottage again and I miss it everyday!!! If your reading this, I give it two big ol' thumbs up!

A Great Rental Cottage in Eleuthera

If you are looking for a cozy clean & private rental just for 2 then this is the place.
My wife and i stayed here and it was our second honeymoon as we were celebrating 10 years of marriage.
The Cottage was perfect and we had all that we needed to make our stay very comfortable.
The beach & snorkeling out front was amazing although some rocky spots to get around in some areas there is a cove just a short walk south of the Cottage that is pure heaven.
We also enjoyed Ten Bay on the carribean side and a short drive from the cottage.
Double Bay Beach also where you can walk for over a mile on the pink sand is an easy walk from the Cottage and was a daily venture for us in the early mornings.
We only seen two other people on the beach our entire stay.

Had great meals at Tippy's & Capt Jacks for the Sunday BBQ was terrific.
Our hosts Ken & Adele were very informative with all the tips & island information before we arrived.
We will be back again for sure.

If you are looking for a really nice Cottage right on the water ( and we mean that) this is the place for you!

My husband and I spent a week there in February, and we loved it. Having the ocean right outside our door was magical. The moon on the water was so beautiful, and this part of the island is by far the most lush with tropical vegetation of any area we visited. The cottage was very well equipped and quite comfortable. We saw noone on the beach the whole week we were there, even though there are other properties somewhat nearby. The jungle growth is thick enough that you can just barely see the other cottage nearby. There is so much to see on Eleuthera that we hope to come back again soon.

My wife and I spent our long delayed (26 years) honeymoon on Eleuthera at the Pink Sand Cottage. We were there the last week in October, 2008. I must say that the Cottage and the island certainly lived up to our expectations. The house is plenty big enough for two people and is very well designed and comfortable inside. The best part is when you walk out on the back porch and that amazing blue ocean is only a few yards away. It is only a few steps down the stairs to a beautiful beach that has nobody on it but you for as far as you can see. We were there for 10 days and I counted only 12 people on the beach the entire time. This includes a two mile walk in both directions when we saw nobody at all on the beach. One of the nice things about Eleuthera how isolated you can be, but there are still grocery stores and nice restaurants within easy driving distance. Speaking of driving, you will need a car. We rented a car from Naaman Rolle (you can get the details from the Cottage owners, Ken and Adele) and we were very satisfied. The car did have a dead battery, but Naaman got right on it (island time of course) and replaced it. There is internet access in the Cottage and we were able to get any questions answered quickly. We were also able to use Skype to make phone calls. Ken and Adele are very nice people and do everything they can to make your stay a good one. Our trip to Eleuthera was by far the best vacation we have ever had. We can’t wait to go back.

Laura and I stayed there for our 1st anniversary, what a place to get a way! Peaceful, relaxing, quiet and most of all secluded. We rented a car from Namman and went all over the island, saw the glass window bridge and then on up to Whale point, for those of you who don’t know how it got its name. It’s a small blow hole and the sound of the tide and the air coming out of the hole will make you jump if you don’t know it is there.

Restaurants: Dolce Vita is approximately 15 min from the pink sand cottage, and it is outstanding, right on a small marina overlooking the Caribbean side.
Tippy’s on the Atlantic side on Bay St Gov harbor.

Beaches, well you have one right outside your front door. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

Pink Sands Was an excellent vacation spot for us!

We just returned from a week at Pink Sand cottage. Ken and Adele were wonderful hosts. We had everything we needed. The cottage is very clean and well equipped. The linens and towels are top notch and the bed is very comfortable. Shower and plumbing work like a charm. The beach out front is beautiful and you are able to walk for miles in either direction. They will supply you with starting water but be sure to pick up a few groceries and beverages before you go to the cottage.
We ate breakfast every morning on the porch. If you have a favorite coffee, you may want to bring it along. The coffee selection is limited. Other than that, you have everything you need at the cottage.

We just spent Christmas week at the Pink Sand Cottage, and had a great time. We're pretty active, so we ran up and down the beach, went kayaking two days, caught dinner the three days we went fishing (just stop anywhere and fish off the beach), and we drove to the northern and southern tips of the island. The cottage was a perfect home base, and it has all the amenities.

Reserved the cottage for 2 weeks this past November. Then along came Tropical Storm Noel. Couldn't access the cottage for the first 9 nights. Ken was great in setting me up with a friend who had a nice place for me to stay. He also offered me a rebooking if I chose so. Great guy. Wonderful place if you like to get away from it all. Beautiful place for a couple. Be sure to chat him up with ANY! questions. He'll let you talk his ear off, or was it the other way around. You won't be dissapointed unless you're used to staying at a Ritz or 4 Seasons. Feel free to email me. I'm going back for 2 weeks in January. Although not at the cottage since it's booked thru May. That should tell you something. Out of the dozen or so houses in the area I looked at none had bookings as full as the cottage.

We stayed at the Cottage from May 12-19. A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! Cottage had everything that we needed, including the best snorkeling right from our beach! Quiet, relaxing, good restaurants within a half hour's drive. We will definitely be back.
