Reviews of Property: 1 Subway Stop to Grand Central

I am a native New Yorker and have lived in the area for more than 4 years before I moved overseas for work. In fact, I still own a apartment right across the street from Tammy's place.

I rented Tammy's apartment on a recent trip home for 5 days. I had 2 weeks vacation and wanted to stay in my own neighborhood, Tammy's apartment was a shoe in for what I needed.

The apartment is cozy, with a great view. Tammy's service was fantastic and very accommodating.

Granary Park area of the Long Island City is the hottest neighborhood in New York City, being 1 subway stop from Grand central station and surrounded by 2 highways (Long Island Expressway and Brooklyn Queens Expressway), Midtown tunnel and the 59th street bridge, there is a ferry service which takes about 5 minutes to 34 street or 20 minutes to wall street. The apartment is about a $20 cab ride from LGA and $35 from JFK, it is quick and easy for any points in NYC or Long Island.

This is what I called the best of both worlds. You are in the city without all of the hassle of living in a tiny apartment in the city, mean while enjoying a waterfront property with full view of the mid town east. This might sound very self serving, but it is the truth.

Totally enjoyed our stay in New York! The place is clean, convenient, comfortable..... all you need in an apartment is there. Would definitely recommend this place.

My son and I stayed here for our very first New York visit. He for pleasure and exploration, me for business. For both of us, the apartment was ideal. I loved the neighborhood. It reminded me of my favorite California beach town. Groceries and drugstore were across the street, restaurants and coffee houses a block or two away, subway a pleasant three blocks. Car service, plenty easy.

In one subway stop we were in the heart of it all, making it easy to escape to in the middle of the day if we wanted a break. The best part, besides the city view including the fantastic Empire State Building, was the peace and quiet after a hectic day of work and sightseeing. Close behind was Tammy's responsiveness, cheerfulness and professionalism. I'd stay again, even bringing my hard to please husband and will recommend it to others.

My son, Daughter and I just returned from a four day trip to NYC. This apartment was great! It was easy to get anywhere in the city we wanted to go. Tamera even had a map of the subway to help you find your way. And at night the window had a fantastic view of the Empiror State Building. We felt very safe walking home at night from the subway. It was a great place to stay it is small but has a full stocked kitchen although we were mostly looking for a place to crash at the end of the day. My daugher ask me to keep this apartment info in case we come back. Tamera was helpful in getting everything set up. When we arrived all I had to do is announce myself to the front desk. Having just spent a week in New York staying at this apartment i would like to give the following review. The booking process of the apartment was very easy & Tamara was extremely helpful & quick to respond to any queries. The apartment itself was lovely, very modern, clean, comfortable and much bigger than expected. A huge plus for the apartment was the view of manhattan, fantastic!! The neighbourhood was nice, safe and had plenty of shops, take aways, restaurants & a few bars. The walk to the subway took only a few minutes which then got you into manhattan in no time. If returning to New York we would definately rent this apartment again & I would highly recommend it to my friends & anyone else visiting the Big apple!

I used this apartment for my ten day vacation in New York City. It is perfect for one or two people who are visiting for the first time or for the tenth time. The building is relatively new and the apartment was clean and ready for occupancy when I arrived. The kitchen has all the equipment, dishes and silverware you need to prepare a snack or a full meal. Having the use of the phone was convenient as I made and received calls from friends and family.

I'ts a ten minute walk to the subway and you are in mid-Manhattan in another ten minutes or less. Purchase a Metro card and you can get all over the City.

There is a decent grocery store across from the subway entrance and several well priced restaruants including the one in the apartment building. After a long day in Manhattan is was convenient to call and have dinner delivered, which I did several times.

Tamara's customer service is excellent. My requests were met the same day and my deposit was returned the day after I returned home. Can't beat that service.

I recommend this property to anyone who is visiting New York City and wants a quiet place with a wonderful view to spend the evenings. No street noise means you can sleep as late as you like.

Your condo was perfect for our vacation. The view and accommodations were outstanding. We will certainly recommend your locations to friends and family.
