DAVID,
SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK TO YOU, BUT WE DID HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AT YOUR
CABIN.WEATHER WAS IN THE LOW 100'S APART
FROM THE LAST 2 DAYS WHEN IT FELL SHARPLY,
BUT THE TEMPERTURE INSIDE WAS ALWAYS
COMFORTABLE. IT IS CERTAINLY THE MOST COMFORTABLE VACATION RENTAL WE HAVE BEEN
IN (AND WE HAVE BEEN IN QUITE A FEW). lOCATION
IS IDEAL FOR ALL ATTRACTIONS-NOT FAR TO GO IN
ANY DIRECTION. WE'D LOVE TO COME BACK JUST
TO SIT AROUND AND ENJOY THE VIEWS FROM THE
DECKS.
BEST WISHES AND THANK YOU FOR A
WONDERFUL STAY

Outstanding week!

My wife & I and our two dogs spent a fantastic week at David's home in late September. The weather as great, the setting outstanding and the home was even better that the photos! Everything you could want in a vacation home is already included. Just add food (there was even some of that in the cupboards). The dogs loved the setting, our ability to ride in and out on our motorcycles was a big plus and we were just minutes from Rapid City and many of the Black Hills destinations. The stars at night were beautiful, even viewable from the master windows! The creek that runs near the property provides beautiful background sounds. The deer and wild turkeys came by several times a day to keep the dogs entertained. We could not have asked for a better base of operations and we will surely be visiting again!

Great Vacation Home

Pat and Camille Lake In The Hills, IL - USA
Review Submitted: June 28, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
Dear Dave,

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. It is simply the nicest vacation home we have ever stayed in; as well as clean and beauftiful Every was amentity was provided for us. The views from the wrap around deck were just spectacular and the fenced in yard for our dog was a very nice addition. I would recommend this vacation property to anyone traveling to The Black HIlls, SD. We hope to travel back here someday and stay in this home again.!

Dave, Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of November. It was perfect for us. Our kids loved having their own rooms and our dog made herself right at home on the comfy dog beds. It was nice to have the fenced in yard for her. The use of the laptop was great. Amazing how well equipped the kitchen was. Also, thank you sooo much for shipping our forgotten items to us. Very much appreciated!

I knew as soon as I found this property on VRBO that this was the perfect place for us. I fell in love with the Black Hills several years ago, and wanted my hubby to understand why. So we decided to rent Dave's place for a few days over the New Year. Besides the obvious esthetics of the lodgings and surrounding scenery, what prompted us to inquire about the property in the first place was the vast fenced backyard. We do not like to travel without our dogs, and the acre of piney woods behind the house looked like canine heaven on earth!!!
All the comforts of home and then some can be found there. So many are the amenities that we actually brought a few things we ended up not needing after all.
The scenery was unbelievable, and the central location of the cabin put the southern hills, the northern hills, and rapid city within an easy reach.
This cabin exceeded all our expectations. We loved it so much we can't wait to come back, humans and canines alike. Thanks Dave!

Thank you for the use of your beautiful
home!We love the windows and looking outside to see the great views. Saw some deer early one morning trotting
outside. Relaxed and made lots of
memories during our easter vacation holiday.
Thanks again

Hi Dave,
I just wanted to let you know that we all had a great time at your place in South Dakota. Our friends from Illinois were surprised how much there was to see and do and how beautiful it is out there. We were all really happy with how well stocked the house was... it was as if you thought of everything! We ended up cooking every night and eating-in so we were not able to try the local restaurants but we wanted to just stay in and relax in the evenings. Thanks for letting us rent your home!
