Family of five

Just returned from a very relaxing stay at S'Arraco with husband and 3 teenagers. Accomodation was delightful especially around the swimming pool - it was very tempting to stay there all day. Our teenage children had great fun in the pool - the pictures dont do it justice as it slopes to a reasonable depth so they could dive and jump in etc.
Lovely area to explore the island from, only 40 mins to Palma. My husband hired a road bike and had some great rides in the mountains.
Owners extremely helpful and villa beatifully clean, fresh and bright.
We visited during festival weekend in the village which was great fun with music and dancing in the village square until the small hours. Music could be heard not only at the villa but throughout the valley.

Highly recommend villa and would certailnly consider another visit

Wonderful Holiday

Review Submitted: August 31, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Having recently returned from a terriffic family holiday we can whole-heartedly reccommend this villa as a great place to relax and unwind but it also occupys an excellent location to enable easy access to explore the island. As previously mentioned in other reviews the pool and surrounding gardens offer fantastic views and a tranquil setting. The close proximity of port andraxt (and its marina) allowed for regular visits to enjoy the relaxed evening atmosphere and to sample some excellent local restaurants. Lorna and Eoin were very friendly and helpful and we would certainly reccommend a visit to this special place

Exactly What We Wanted!

I booked this holiday with a little trepidation, having never visited Mallorca before and being aware of the reputation of some of the larger resorts. But I needn't have worried - this proved to be the perfect family holiday. The villa is in a quiet area but within easy reach of local amenities and places of interest and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
The villa is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen, though small, was equiped with everything I needed to cook for a family of 5. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and the pool area even better than it looks on the photo. This house has just the right balance of traditional charm and mod cons in my opinion.
We could probably have happily spent the entire week by the pool, but we managed to drag the children away to see some of the island! Nearby St Elm has a very nice beach and a good choice of family friendly bar/restaurants. Port Andratx is quite upmarket with eateries ranging from the average to the very swish - a nice place to stroll around in the evening. There's also a well stocked supermarket there where we did all our shopping. We also visited the mountain areas which was most enjoyable, though the roads are not for the faint hearted.Palma is an easy drive and well worth a visit too.
If you are looking for a peaceful location in which to unwind, or a base from which to tour the west of Mallorca, then C'an Pujola is perfect. We wanted somewhere far from the madding crowds but not too isolated either and this villa fitted the bill exactly.
We have a "rule" in our family, that since the world is so big, and we have seen so little of it, we never go back to the same place for a holiday, but I suspect we might have to break that rule having discovered this little gem!

Wonderful and idyllic

We are a family from Copenhagen, Denmark who just returned from a wonderful two week Mallorcan holiday, with one perfect week in Can Pujola, S'Arraco.
The appartment is very nice, well provided and cosy. The property is very beautiful and charming with flowers, old trees and a lot of space. You will from the terrasse find the most fantastic seight of the S'Arraco valley, especially at sundown. Furthermore our host was very friendly and helpfull, giving the place a good and relaxed atmosphere
From our opinion S'Arraco is situated in the best place of Mallorca. Near to fantastic beaches, stunning mountains and the small and friendly villages and ports af Andratx, Port d'Andratx and Sant Elm, and with Palma not far away.
We can give Can Pujola our best recommandations!

Perfect villa location in S'Arraco

CDTEC Winscombe, Somerset, UK
Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
It's such a relief to arrive at your holiday destination and find you have picked a special place. This villa is in a very beautiful area of Majorca, the views are stunning. The attractive village of S'Arraco is easily within walking distance and the 2 bars are open early for coffee and late into the evening. Most of your needs will be met here but it really is essential to have a car not only to stock up at the supermarket in Andraxt but to visit Sant Elm for the beach and to drive through the beautiful mountainous countryside. Walks around S'Arraco are also stunning. The villa was big enough to accomodate our family of five (3 teenagers) and was spotlessly clean. We loved the pool/BBQ area with so much space just for us. Lorna and Eoin couldn't have been more helpful and gave us plenty of tips as to where to visit and what to see. It was our first visit to the island and it will certainly not be our last.

Perfect sunny holiday

J M & F UK
Review Submitted: July 7, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We've just returned from a wonderfully sunny and relaxing stay in S'Arraco with our 17 month old. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and we'd certainly recommend it! It's a beautiful old property with quite large and very well-maintained gardens. A lovely pool and great views over the hills. Lorna and Eoin, the owners, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The only minor issue was occasional noise from the neighbour's dogs but it didn't hugely bother us. The location is great for easy access to some of Mallorca's great beaches and ports (San Telmo and Port D'Andratx are lovely) and some amazing coastal drives (up to Estellencs and beyond) - you do need a car though. All in all, great time had!

It was a exellent place for us to stay!

The location was perfect for us. Some of us could start our cycling immediate outside the property. For the rest af the company there was exellent opportunity to walk in the neighbourhood or take a trip to the village or to Andraxt or even to Palma de Mallorca. For us it was the perfect place to stay. We had a very pleasent stay with much help from the owners. The appartrment was perfect for us - we were to married couples who had a separate departement and a common kitchen, where we had our brekfast and also did supper. The kitchen as well as the rest of the appartment very well provided. It was a perfest places for us - and we will be glad to come again!
