Charming country cottage

We have stayed at this cottage many times in the past few years. It is set in a lovely and secluded garden with extensive views across countryside from the upstairs windows.
It is comfortably furnished in a style that does not detract from the overall country cottage feel. The kitchen is furnished in the style of a true country cottage - all antique pine.
The owners have added lots of homely touches such as lots of local art, pottery and candles. It feels like a real home from home and not a holiday cottage.
The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They provide an excellent service without being intrusive.
Beautiful country walks are available from the cottage, although we think a car is essential to really take advantage of the lovely countryside and also to get to the nearest towns for shopping and restaurants.
There are a range of restaurants and pubs within a short drive - some gourmet and some with a more basic, yet good, style of cooking. However, we often find that we cannot tear ourselves away from the cosy log fire and in the evenings, and so cook candlelight dinners for ourselves. That is when we would like a dishwasher to do the dishes, pots and pans - but we all join in to do the washing up!
The cottage provides a gateway to both the Iveragh and Dingle peninsulars and this gives access to all the varied types of scenery on offer in the south west of Ireland.
It is a cottage that lets you unwind and release all the stresses and strains of modern living. We are always sad when it is time to leave.
I would recommend the property to a friend - although I would prefer to keep it secret for myself!
