Dear Paola and Marco,
Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay in Venice! The apartment was wonderful, with lots of light, space, and air, and great views over the rooftops from every window. It was even better than we had hoped for and the location was perfect.
We were able to shop at the Rialto market
for fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, pasta, cheese, and bread, and we put together some amazing meals! We ate out on our little terrace often but we also found some excellent bars and restaurants nearby.
I wanted to write you and let you know how much we enjoyed the flat. It was a perfect location with just the right amount of room.

The apartment is acurately described- a very nice, clean apartment with all the things you need to have a good and comfortable journey. Sitting on the the lovely little balcony, life is good. You can see Campanile tower, because you are on the roots of Venice. Though you are in the heart of "Old Venice", there is no noice. You can reach by foot or by ship all points you want to see. That is very exclusive. We told all our friends of this apartment and recommended it to them.
I think, it is necessairy to say, that there is a washing -machine , a hair-dryer.and a microwave. You must know, that the apartment is situated on the 4.th floor, there are 60 steps to take, especially with luggage. I wouldn`t recommend it for elder person, who are not fit in health.
We liked to take diner in the restaurant, with an outdoor-restaurant situatet at the place on fish- market and an indoor-restaurant in a little street some steps farer. .I forgot the name.

This apartment is truly central. Steps away from the Rialto fish market. 65 steps up to a a great retreat from the crowds. The apt. was clean and well appointed. We didn't cook in but there is enough to live in comfort. I was disappointed to find no internet but internet is not far way. I would return again in a flash. Paola and Marco were very helpful.

wir sind wieder in Hamburg angekommen u. haben von der tollen Stadt und der Wohnung berichtet.Wir können nur empfehlen, sich diese für einen Aufenthalt in Venedig zu mieten. Die Lage ist perfekt und die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Sie ist sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon in der warmen Sonne war ein Genuß. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal kommen und auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Grüße aus Hamburg senden Fatima und Anja

October Visit to Paola and Marco Apartment

We (3 adults) spent four nights in the apartment and it was perfect for us. We typically stay in apartments when we travel and found Paola and Marco's apartment to be well furnished, very clean, and in a great location for exploring Venice. We agree with a previous review that the apartmnet is more spacious and nicer than it appears in the photos. Quaint views in all directions over the rooftops towards Campanile and church spires. We enjoyed the small deck that allowed for a quiet and relaxing outdoor break. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.

Rialto apartment

My husband and I spent a happy 4 days in this lovely, airy apartment (July 2008) which is more spacious than it looks on the website photographs. The outside balcony is L-shaped and roomy enough for 2 average-sized adults to eat out comfortably at the table. Quiet and peaceful amongst the Venetian rooftops, with the added bonus of a view of the top half of St. Mark's Campanile. Great for self-catering as you have the Rialto market on your doorstep, full of colour and fantastic, fresh produce, including a range of fish/seafood. We appreciated not being bothered with daily cleaning rituals (appreciate some people may like/expect this) although fresh towels were abundant in the bathroom and everything was sparkling clean on arrival. A very central location with easy access to local neighbourhood bars and restaurants - if you don't mind a few steep stairs in approaching the apartment, we believe this accommodation represents good value for money.
