We were looking for a rest and this was a perfect place for that. The kitchen had all we needed for easy cooking. The kids enjoyed being outside. Loved the flowers and birds.
Waterfalls and geocaching all within an easy drive. ~ We would love to come again!

All I can say is WOW! we had a great time at the Cottage and the kids had so much fun feeding the fish and checking out the creek. I felt right at home from the moment I stepped inside. very relaxing and family friendly.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Creekside Cottage! Our children played in the creek, roasted hot dogs on the fire pit, and had a great time fishing in the pond. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to return as soon as possible. Thank you!!!

New Year's Week

My husband and I just spent New Year's week (2009) in Creekside Cottage. The atmosphere was everything we hoped it would be, quiet and relaxing. The pond has a lot of beautiful trout, great for catch and release. The birds were fun to watch, we saw a beautiful red tailed hawk and a grey heron.

Thank you for sharing your delightful home.

Jim and I really enjoyed our week at Creekside Cottage. our mini-Schnauzers /Trex and Luke enjoyed running in the field without leaches. The cottage is very homey. You have it so well prepared that you virtually need nothing extra. All the personal touches like the bears were simply southern to us.The rain did not stop us from catching a trout from the pond. The dinner was simply delicious. The peacefulness and quiet hit home with us. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering at the Cottage. It worked out perfectly. It was such a relaxing, peaceful getaway. Living in a very crowded county in FL it was just what we needed to renew and refresh. Of course we would have loved to stay longer. The property has it all, trout pond (to "play" with the fish), the sound of the creek, the lively and amusing birds and little ground squirrel. Besides our Thankgiving celebration I also enjoyed celebrating my birthday so it was a week full of special memories. We would love to stay at the Cottage again. It was definitely just like our home away from home.

This was our first vacation as "empty nesters" and our first fall vacation in years. We had so much fun. We fished in the creek and pond, hiked, cooked out, had a birthday party, and just relaxed. Everywhere we went we were amazed by the beautiful colors of the leaves. Thank yu for providing such a nice place! Tim and Julie Anglea, Windermere, FL

Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home! The cottage was very cozy, comfy and relaxing. Thank you for providing brochures and directions to the waterfalls and parkway - that was so helpful. October was a fantastic time to be there. We enjoyed the pond - caught and released a few and did eat one. Those were some of the biggest trout we've ever seen. Thanks, too, for providing everything visitors would need - brochures, kitchen supplies, blankets, games, dvd player, etc. We had a wonderful time and hope to return. Thanks again!

We came to Creekside Cottage to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! We were pleasantly surprised to find an anniversary card and a box of chocolates as we entered! Thank you, Sandra! It was a pleasure to let our Scottish Terriers off leash to romp and enjoy the property! Chase did get a bee in his beard but we got it out before it stung him! Fishing was great...we caught some and lost some (but we released the ones we caught) and one broke my line! There are some big ones in there! Feeding them was fantastic...more like a frenzy! I couldn't believe we could sit in the rocking chairs on the porch and the hummingbirds would come up and feed with us so close! They were so neat it inspired us to come home and put out 2 feeders even though it's late in the season. Now we have a few but not like the flock at Creekside Cottage! Our Scotties played with the basketball...pushing and nudging it like a soccer ball. Creekside Cottage has something to interest everyone from children to adults to dogs, etc. I had wading boots so I had to go down and wander around in the creek!

We loved every minute and hope to return. Thanks for sharing your cottage!
