Thought that I had better write this all be it a little late,
Stayed in the apartment during Easter 09 ,
A fantastic home from home, with all of the required bits and pieces to make your stay very pleasant.
Anne contacted me after the stay for my views which could make it better I could give her little or no imput.
The property is in quiet location near to the lifts, it has been renovared to a high standard and was plenty big enough for 5 of us.
Would be happy to stay here in the future!!!!

This was my third stay at this accommodation so no prizes for guessing we are more than happy with it. It offers a high standard of accomodation at a very reasonable price and it's a pleasure dealing with the owner and the agent in the valley. They couldn't have been more helpful or reliable.

There were 5 in our party, two couples and a single. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for this and could easily included another single. All the facilities would just have easily coped with 6.

We like Le Tour as it's ideally placed for access to the slopes. The Le Tour lifts are only a few hundred metres away and you can ski/board back to within 20 metres of your door. Access to the rest of the valley is by bus with everyone else travelling in the opposite direction, plenty of space there. It's very quiet on a night requiring a short trip into Argentier for any night life (Chamonix would be better for those looking for more).

If you like the idea of staying at Le Tour then this apartment will be very hard to beat.

Lovely Le Tour

This is a fantastic spot - only a stone's throw from the cable car in quiet Le Tour and the baby slopes. Chalet itself was spotless, well organised and decked out, comfortable, and provided plenty of space and privacy for two couples to share - also terrific value. There's lots of wood on interior to give it the chalet feel, but also has all mod-cons. Only drawback is there's no washing machine for the ski stuff - but didn't matter for one week's stay. We (two couples, no kids) particularly liked that there were two double bedrooms with separate bathrooms/toilets. Showers are decent - beds are very comfy. There's cable tv if you want it (came in handy for watching six nations rugby). No phone - but UK mobiles worked fine. Lovely dining area - we had many long meals around the dining table discussing the day's boarding adventures! Lots of cumfy sofa/arm chair space for lounging about after too. We only ate out once over the week. Chalet is so convenient that we also popped back for soup/sandwiches for lunch too before returning to slopes - which helps keep the food costs down. Chalet's no smoking, but the terrace provides plenty of room to pop out for quick smoke. Heating was very efficient - so didn't bother with fire. You can ski//board to the door. Owner was super helpful with all the questions we had before we arrived, and caretaker made sure everything went smoothly while we were there. Le Tour is a quiet village - no life after about 6pm - so don't come here if you want to party within walking distance. That said, Argentiere is five minutes away on the free valley bus (Chamonix is 15 mins away), so evening fun is not far away. We didn't bother hiring car - made do with direct van shuttle up from Geneva airport and valley bus service which works well and is free with ski pass. There are bus stops at all main ski points and supermarkets. Argentiere supermarket has everything you need, but is quite expensive. Slight downside is bus stops at about 7pm - after that its hitch or rely on fairly thin taxi service. Let Tour ski/boarding is great for all levels and has a ski school base too. One of the ski lifts broke down for an hour one day, but otherwise the infrastructure worked well and queues weren't off-putting. Le Tour could do with a few more chair lifts instead of button lifts. All in all, the chalet is so lovely that I thought twice about writing this review for fear the secret would be out and I wouldn't be able to book it again. Enjoy!

Excellent apartment with a warm welcome

This apartment is excellent. The decor is done to a very high standard. This was our second trip to chamonix and selected this apartment due to its very close proximity to the Le Tour ski area. We actually Snowboarded back to the door of the property on numerous occasions during our stay. When we arrived we were met by the local person who gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of information regarding the area. During our stay we also had a Phone call to check if everything was ok.

We had a great trip thanks

February skiing holiday

Review Submitted: March 2, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
Ou family of 2 grand-parents, 2 young children and 2 parents had a great week in this comfortable and well appointed modern appartment. it is very well equipped, spacious and light, warm and practical. The beds are comfortable, there is plenty of storing space and there is enough hot water for all in the evening for bath after skking. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had all our meals at home. The shopping in the nearby town og Argentiere is good with all the local specialities.
Le tour is ideal for a family skiing holiday because it can cater for all levels of skiing ability; skiing school for the children, blue and red pists for beginners and moderate skiiers, and further afield there is plenty of scope for better skiiers. This is the perfect place for an unforgettable holiday!

Fantastic break in a great place!

Review Submitted: February 10, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this apartment at the beginning of the year. The accommodation itself was light, airy and spacious, yet it managed to feel cosy at the same time. It was also lovely and warm! We were a group of seven and it never felt at all cramped. The kitchen was clean & well equipped with modern appliances (much to my delight there was a kettle which you don’t always get in France!). You can even see Mont Blanc from one of the bedroom windows. It was a real home from home.

For the skiers, the apartment was only a few minutes’ walk from the ski lifts in Le Tour and if you’re staying longer and want to go to other ski areas (and haven’t got a car) there’s a good regular bus service up and down the valley to Chamonix.

The owner was very helpful and couldn’t have been more accommodating.

I couldn’t recommend this apartment more highly.

This fantastic apartment is located at the foot of the beginner slopes of Le Tour, we where a party of 4 and had more than enough room in the spacious kitchen and living area. The owner was great at responding to emails before and after our visit offering tips of where to eat in the locality. Le Tour could not be a more beautiful winter wonderland with its narrow streets with old buildings and snow covered roofs. The apartment was comprehensively fitted out and we enjoyed the benefit of having a dishwasher and uk TV channels to catch up on the news. Thoroughly recommended and represents fantastic value for money

We had a wonderfull stay in this beautifully renovated and spacious apartment. It is located so close to the lifts and on some days we could ski right to the door! Waking up to the view of Mont Blanc was amazing. We will definitely be looking to book again next year!

I have just stayed at this accommodation with a party of 4 people. It offers a high standard of accomodation at a very reasonable price. The current set of pictures do not do it justice as it has recently been refurbished, including a very clever redistribution of the interior space. There were only four of us but this apartment will accomodate six with ease having enough space for everyone in each area. The owner and the agent in the valley couldn't have been more helpful or reliable.

On our next visit to the valley I hope that we will be staying here again.
