Wonderful villa

LouAnne Arkansas, USA
Review Submitted: September 24, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2007
My husband and I along with 2 other couples stayed at Idyllic Villa in May of 2007 for a week. The beauty of this villa and the scenery surrounding it is unbelievable. You can't even to begin to describe it. We thought it would be beautiful based on the pictures we saw on the internet, but the pictures don't even do it justice!! You just have to see it to believe it. The price for this villa is very, very reasonable considering all that it has to offer. We all plan to return to Barbados in a few years and would not even consider staying anywhere but at Idyllic. Junie was great and Scamp (the dog) became our best companion for the week. We loved him so and hated to leave the little fellow. The owners were very easy to deal with and were most cooperative. It was the greatest vacation we have ever taken. Just book it -- you will be glad that you did!!

Vacation in Paradise

Review Submitted: July 29, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My family and I spent seven wonderful days at this beautiful home in June. The views exceeded anything we could possibly have hoped for. Plenty of space for our family of five. Junie, the housekeeper was very friendly and prepared a wonderful meal for us. We are still talking about it. Fresh fish caught off the cliff by the local fisherman was sooo good! The home was a little far from the local attractions, but if you are looking for a great place to relax and enjoy Barbados, this is it. The only negative we had was there was no working dvd/television or radio in the house. We had brought movies to watch in the evenings and were unable to do so. Junie tried to get the repair people out on several occasions, but it was not a priority for Direct TV (bad customer service). All in all, I would definitely look forward to coming back to this beautiful home.

idyllic villa at coral point vacation

i have to explain why i rated the villa a 3. the villa itself and
grounds plus views i would rate a 5 out of 5. the location
is great for familys.the grounds, pool and villa are maintained properly. and certainly are worth the price of
staying there.
the problem i have with the villa is not getting what you
pay for. which i would rate #1 poor. one bedroom the air
conditioner didnot work. we were told that the owner knew
of this problem.other problems with the amenities were
as follows. the direct tv satellite didnot work. the local
tv channel antenna didnot work. the cd player didnot work.
the wifi didnot work. the maid juni was told of the problems, but were not fixed. we rented the villa because of these amenities listed. the nights were long with no
tv [news back home] -radio or cds for music. good thing
we brought a deck of cards. would i rent this villa again.
no i would not. plus i will not rent another property that
you have to wire the money to the owner. we did enjoy
our visit to barbados the locals are very friendly.plus during
the day there are alot of things to do and see..
the last i will add about this property is the day we arrived
there were about 30 people and 10 cars in the yard. as it
turns out the maid juni was not expecting us for another
day. we were delayed in getting into the villa until it was
cleaned up.
the owner called us the last day of our stay. i told him
of the problems. i hope he fixes them or takes those
amenities off of the listing. the one bedroom without air
needs to be fixed or list the villa with 3 air-conditioned
bedrooms.

Best vacation we have ever had!

How can I find the words to express the villa and the time we spent there? Spotlessly clean it provided the perfect private oasis on such a welcoming island. Our group all had the same reaction upon arrival at the villa it was better than the pictures or the add described. I recomend it to everyone I talk too and we are all planning trips back with our families ,friends etc,The housekeeper was amazing (loved her) she helped us find and arrange anything we needed! Swimming with the turtles and snorkeling in the coral pools at bathsheba (beach) was unforgetable, I wake up every morning and think of the view from the terrace the entire trip was like a dream! ABSOLUTE PARADISE!!!

An Idyllic Vacation

DeniseLC Peru, NY, United States
Review Submitted: February 25, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We just rented Idyllic Villa in Coral Point Estates for the week of Feb 14-21.
We had a phenomenal time. This place is gorgeous! The location is outstanding. We had plans to see the sites all week, but many days week just couldn't turn ourselves away from the view, the patio, the breeze, the ocean, etc.
We hired the maid to cook a meal for us, and it was by far the best meal we had all week! Anyone who has been to Barbados knows that the restaurants there are great, so that is saying a lot!
We hope to be able to come back to Barbados in the future and we would not even think of looking for another villa. We just can't say enough good about it.

We stayed at the villa with our entire family - ages 9 to 70+ and all enjoyed it immensely. A spacious & comfortable villa in a beautiful location with great beaches, a pool and friendly helpful staff. What more can one ask? EG

Sue Bates (August 2005) -
Breathtaking location, the beautiful azure waters ever changing with the presence of sea turtles, sunshine, tide and breeze.
Very well equipped accommodation offering all the comforts of home plus the benefit of a wonderful house keeper who, at a seperately negotiated fee, will cook the most fantastically prepared catch of the day (supplied
by a local spear fisherman).
This location offers privacy, space, access to deserted pristine beaches, yet is within easy reach of the many stunning and varied scenic sights Barbados has to offer.
Idyllic Villa was, without doubt, a wonderful choice for our family holiday and without the need for expensive theme parks or gimmics, provided something for everyone.
We have a host of wonderful photographs and memories to tide us through until we return to Idyllic Villa and would encourage anyone considering Barbados as a holiday destination to sample all that this property and
fantastic location has to offer.
