Fantastic... We couldn't believe our luck!

Me and five girlfriends booked the villa for a long weekend and absolutely LOVED it. Everything was arranged so easily and Ben had kindly organised a welcome pack of essentials for our arrival..
The villa had everything we needed and the pool was AMAZING.. We spent many a happy hour sunning ourselves by it and taking in the beautiful view..
Mojacar Playa has everything you could possibly want from a holiday - shops, bars, restaurants - and it's all just a short walk from the villa..

Although we were a group of ladies, most of our group have families and everyone agreed that it was perfect for families and a couple of the girls are pretty keen to have their family holidays at the villa next year!!

All in all a great villa in a great location...

Thank you..

Family Holiday: Summer 2009

We stayed at this villa for two weeks in June/July 2009 and would thoroughly recommend it. The villa was superbly prepared/presented and exceptionally well equipped with good quality items and in sufficient number for all of us. Typical of this was the pool area which had eight sun beds/mattresses plus tables and umbrellas and was regularly cleaned and serviced while we were there. Additionally there were more than sufficient linen/towels. The kitchen equipment was good quality and the dish washer was a real help.

The view from the terrace, where we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and several barbeques, was superb. Of course the downside of the view was the walk up from the beach/restaurants but hey I am 62 and 22 stone and I managed it easily in the day and at night even with a baby in the push chair! Talking of the restaurants there was an excellent choice all within walking distance to suit a variety of tastes and at all prices.
We founds all our communications with the owner, Ben, were promptly and courteously dealt with both before and during our stay. A small problem with the air con unit in one bedroom was dealt with promptly the next day.

I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone including family and friends. Thanks for helping make this a great holiday.

The D family holiday 2008

WOW! This villa is amazing! Booking was easy, and Ben always kept in touch and made the whole process painless.
My wife and I arrived with our clan of children, aged 10 months to 18 years. We stopped on the way and picked up some essentials (wine and beer) and after dropping the cases on the floor, headed to the upper terrace to enjoy our first taste of Mojacar.
The villa has fantastic views of the beach, sea and the wonderful lively Mojacar Playa.
The pool is amazing! Situated on the lower terrace, it has plenty of sun loungers and tables for those all important drinks, and of course parasols to keep the drinks cool.
We had so much fun splashing around the pool and generally acting really silly. Just enjoyed it so much! There is also a poolside shower and toilet to save treading all through the villa time and again.
The local restaurants and bars are fab! Lua is only 5 mins walk away, a really trendy outside nightclub type bar and also a host of other lively but good atmosphered and friendly establishments. There is also banana boat rides within walking distance and go-karting about 30 drive away.
If you walk out from the villa, and get to the bottom of the road. Turn right along the sea front and walk about 5 mins you will come to Kookies Bar. A really friendly family run bar/snack bar. There are a couple of pool tables to keep the kids amused, and the food menu is really cheap, but good quality lite snacks. Also Kookie and his wife are very welcoming, even gave us a bottle of wine on our last visit. Was a really nice touch.
Overall this was probably the most fun we have ever had on holiday, and really could not have wished for better accomodation or location.
Our kids absolutely loved it and still rant about it now, 5 months on. The one thing you learn when you have such a large family as us, is that, if the kids are happy you have a much better holiday yourself, and we certainly did. Something for everyone, with nobody having time for boredom. Would reccomend to anyone! Go there, enjoy it, and go back!
Tony and Helen D and our 5 great kids.

Fantastic villa within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. This has to be the best equipted villa I have ever booked. with enough sunloungers for all 8 of us. the pool was excellent and well maintained. and the views were amazing.
Booking was a pleasure as Ben always replied to my emails and kept in contact from booking to departing from the villa after a 3 week stay. I would recommend this villa to all and look forward to returning myself later in the year and maybe again next year.

Great place to stay in Mojacar

Myself and 6 other older ladies spent a week at this beautiful villa. The villa is situated on a steep hill. We had no trouble at night walking up but in the heat of the day it was a bit of a struggle and not suitable for people with disabilities. As we were arriving on a late Ryanair flight (11.30 p.m.) we requested a welcome pack of essentials. Fortunately the owner of the villa was in Spain and she stocked the large fridge with water, wine, bread etc. This really did get our holiday off to a great start and was very much appreciated! The villa is exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is perfect for lazing around and has everything you need, i.e. toilet, shower, comfortable sunbeds and enough umbrellas for shade. The villa itself was outstanding and we wanted for nothing. The nearest restaurant is on the beach (5 minute walk) and is our favourite, Da Vinci, an Italian Restaurant serving pasta, pizza, fish and the best fillet steak. The staff were very attentive and tolerant of us! We also enjoyed Le Bistrot, a very nice French restaurant. We loved the Lua bar and their amazing "mint tea" cocktails. We spent many evenings lounging on the sofas. The beach and sea are gorgeous but it was always nice to go back "home" to the villa. We really did have a fantastic holiday and hope to return next year. A big thank you to the family for being so kind and helpful.
