Sun, Moon and Stars

My husband and I just spent a truly perfect vacation at Sun, Moon and Stars. It is truly as advertised. The villa is lovely- bright, vibrant colors, comfortably furnished, and very well appointed kitchen. The views of Coral Bay and the BVIs are spectacular! I could not spend enough time on the expansive deck enjoying the views and the hummingbirds. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after spending the mornings at the beach at Salt Pond Bay. The location is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. We definitely plan to return to this lovely villa.

After an extensive search on one-bedroom villas, we found Sun, Moon and Stars. We are extremely particular in where to stay and this villa was not a disappointment! The location was quite, the views were magnificent, the amenities were terrific, and the interior was tastefully comfortable. Both owner, Debra, and manager, Bonny, were delightful, and we thank them for making our St. John visit one we continue to talk about. We had a fantastic time!

The Sun, Moon and Stars is exactly what you will experience at this wonderful villa. Beautiful sunrises, moon by evening and stars galore! This villa has one of the most spectacular views on the entire island of St. John! The accomodations are very comfortable, warm and inviting...but the tradewinds are unbelievable...even though the villa has A/C, you will never need it. The porch and deck area is the most wonderful thing about the villa. The tradewinds, however, did cool the pool a little too much. The road is a tough one to drive up the mountain and you should make sure you have 4 wheel drive on your vehicle, but once you are there...it is worth every effort! I am a photographer and this was a dream place...local humingbirds will keep you entertained and if your lucky, one may even pose for you! I got some great shots! The villa care taker will make you feel more than welcome and all the locals are very friendly. But don't worry about privacy, the villa has all the privacy you need. The Wi-FI connection is a plus, as well as the CD player with a great speaker system. We found that some days, we would never leave the villa...it was just the most peaceful and relaxing place to be! We have rented other villas on the lsland in the past and have enjoyed most of them, but this one...we will definitly be back!

My husband and I chose this property for our two week honeymoon. The internet description, pictures and the review determined our decision. We loved it! So peaceful.It is located almost at the top of a large hill, so the winds were constant, a little cool in February for the pool. Best were the views of many islands, boats and every night those gorgeous stars. Driving up the rocky hill is a bumpy but worth it when you get there. We had to make ourselves leave every few days to explore the great beaches. We cooked in mostly and danced the nights away on the great deck with steel band cd music. Water is collected by rain, so showers were short. We hope they have a jacuzzi in the garden next time we go, which will be as soon as possible. You will enjoy it more than you can imagine. Our spirits are still there even though our bodies have arrived back in South Carolina.

We loved Sun, Moon and Stars and St. John in general! We were taken in by the beauty of the island and the community that inhabits it.

Sun Moon and Stars is an exceptional villa. The panoramic view of the ocean and British Virgin Islands is incredible. It is comfortably appointed with everything one would need for a home-like experience. The villa and furnishings are tasteful and in excellent condition. It was immaculately cleaned before our arrival. Bonny, the property manager, was extremely helpful, not just with the unit but with providing informatioin about the local community and St. John in general. The road was a wild, rugged experience which quickly became part of the charm and made driving the Jeep fun!
