Wonderful Cabin!

My family and I just returned from our trip to Tennessee. This cabin is a short distance from Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts Community, Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, air hockey game, view and accommodations. This cabin exceeded our expectations, as it was very clean and had everything we needed. Also, the owners communicated well and reservations were a breeze.
We would definitely stay at the cabin again!

I'm always a bit skeptical of rent-by-owner vacation properties. Many times, they seem to over promote features and amenities or show pictures that don't truly represent the propery. However, American Pride was exactly as advertised by the owners. Every amenity they mentioned was included. Every picture they provided was spot on with reality. They were very easy to do business with, easy to reach, and were always willing to answer any questions about the property. The information they provided about the property, directions, and location was detailed and very helpful. Everything was very clean and in working order. We have already recommended the property to several friends and family members.

High Points: Less than 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, fairly secluded (there are a couple of houses within sight with the closest being 50 yards down a shared driveway and the other being 100 yards away...this is not a cabin in a multi-unit complex), two full bathrooms, DishTV, wireless internet access, full kitchen, dishes (pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware, etc)

Make sure you bring: spices/seasoning if you plan on cooking, Ziploc bags or plactic containers for leftover food, laundry detergent if you plan on doing laundry, standard DVDs, wireless modem if your laptop doesn't have integrated wireless, your own coffee if it has to be just your type...the cabin has just about everything else that you need for an easy stay (towels, soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, ice maker, coffee maker, etc)

Even if you want to get away from Pigeon Forge, it's easy to make a stop at Wal-Mart or another grocery store, stock up with enough food for your visit, and spend your days and nights never leaving the cabin. However, Pigeon Forge has plenty to do and see if you like to stay busy during your vacation. If it weren't for shopping at the Tanger Outlet and grabbing some movies at Blockbuster, we would have had no reason to leave after our initial trip to the grocery store.

Great place!

We truly enjoyed our 4 nite stay at this cabin, it had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Also, the area was beautiful and also the little towns were so neat. Next time, we will stay longer.
Owner's Response: Weekly stays are highly recommended to see all that the area has to offer. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

We had a great time at American Pride. The location is beautiful; it was nice not to be write in all of the activity; but close enough for a short drive. The cabin is well maintained and well stocked. The owners were great to work with. I would recommend the cabin to anyone.
Owner's Response: We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin, we look forward to have you back.

Our family enjoyed staying at your cabin. Thank you for accomadating us on such a short notice. We had a wonderful time, lots of things to keep us entertained when we were at the cabin. Distances not to bad to get to either of the towns and attractions. Would return to your cabin.
Thanks again.

We enjoyed a wonderful family get-together at American Pride during the Thanksgiving holiday. We loved the beautiful mountain view as well as the wireless internet, hi-def tv, and the downstairs game room. We found the cabin to be well-stocked. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The owners, Steve and Veronica, were easy to work with and promptly responded to emails and requests. If our future travels take us to the area we would stay again at American Pride without hesitation.
