This place is exactally how it's described above!

Review Submitted: June 5, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
I was fortunate to be able to stay here for a month with my children and it is beautiful. The view from the deck is so peaceful. My kids and I fed the ducks from the deck and watched the fish. Watching the sunset is indescribable. It is absolutely all that it says it is. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. It has everything you could want or need. The owner provides exceptional customer service. I can guarantee you will not find better service anywhere. She genuinely cares about you having a great time. I will absolutely recommend this condo to anyone I know going to AZ. It is near a shopping plaza that has everything you could want. My husband was able to come for part of the time and he loved it, the kids loved it, and I loved it. If you're looking for a place to stay, this is the one!
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the great review, Wendy! You, and your family, are delightful! Thank you for taking exceptional care of the condo. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourselves and hope to see you in the future.

Return Trip

Review Submitted: May 3, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We loved this condo, the location and the owner so much last year that we returned this year.

The morning orange juice and coffee seem to taste better while sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake and the golf course.

We are looking forward to another trip here and my wife will attest to the Outlet Mall in Anthem as a great bargain hunters place.

Highly Recommended

Bill & Lynne Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Review Submitted: April 22, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
Yep, five suitcases from us as well. And we gave the condo quite a test because we spent three months there, hiding from the Alberta winter. I wish I could describe the mischievous joy of waking up in the morning to the warm, bright sunshine and checking out the Edmonton Journal website to see the temperatures we were ‘missing’. We fed the ducks from our deck and watched the cranes and the heron swoop in for a visit; every day we chatted with Percy the Pigeon and his wife, Penny. Just occasionally a hummingbird would hover alongside the balcony looking for mosquitoes. And most nights we watched the moorhens (we think that’s what they are) pull their circular formation for a secure night’s sleep on the lake. It was so peaceful and the only noise came from fellow Canadians – the feathered kind! We’ve seen (and heard) them flying over our house in their V-formation every Fall, and we’ve seen (and heard) them flying over in their V-formation every Spring; now we know where the little devils head in the meantime, and what a wonderful choice they make! What a pleasure it was to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watch the golfers go by. Inside, the condo has pretty much everything we needed and quickly felt like “home”. It’s just off Loop 101, although you’d never know because there’s virtually no road noise. There’s plenty to do in the area. We golfed, we watched pro hockey, baseball and golf, and we went for strolls in the hills and came back to cool off in the pool; these were excellent diversions because Lynne would have spent a lot more time (and money) in the many shops (and those darned outlet stores at Anthem, about 30 minutes up the highway!). There are good restaurants nearby to suit every taste and budget. Some really neat places are an easy drive away; Sedona and Jerome are “musts” – as well as the Grand Canyon of course, and we enjoyed the drive to Tucson. We had visitors from England for two weeks, and our son and daughter (plus husband) came for separate visits. Never once did we feel crowded. All the while, Barb was super-helpful and friendly – nothing was too much trouble, and the permanent resident neighbours are delightful. We’ll be back, for sure.
Owner's Response: Bill, you should write a book or be a poet, you have a wonderful way with words! Thank you for a great review, and for taking the time to write it. We enjoyed our dinner cruise and visit with you and Lynne, and do hope that we'll see you again in the future.

Beautiful Property!

Review Submitted: April 12, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
This property is absolutely stunning and very well kept! Very quiet & clean...definitely a secluded gem! The view is gorgeous and my kids loved all the ducks, fish and geese that surround the lakes. The balcony provides a wonderful escape and made everyday feel like a vacation day! It is very close to all shopping, sports facilities, grocery and convenient stores. Owner is very accommodating and provided us with above and beyond friendly service. Everything was brand new and in working order.. All the linens and dishes, and cookware far exceeded our expectations. This was truly a wonderful place to call home! I would highly recommend this location to all of my family and friends!
Owner's Response: Thank you, Nicole, for the great review. It was a pleasure getting to know you and the boys! Thanks for taking such good care of the condo. I hope to see you soon. Barb

Very reasonable and Barb was so easy to work with

We stayed at the condo and we very pleased. We made our trip decision very last minute and Barb was absolutely the most accommodating rental owner ever.
The condo was clean and spacious. Nice to have the use of a washer and dryer so that we did not have to pack too much. A full kitchen is so nice so that you do not have to eat out every meal.
The condo is conveniently located.
We missed the internet as we are very dependent upon it. But not to worry as there are coffee shops near the condo so if you are like us you can simply hook up to wi-fi at one of those or Barb will allow use of her own home for the internet.
One of the best things about this rental is that it is affordable. The convenience of home at less than the cost of a hotel.
A must try restaurant is Arizona Pizza. They have the best pasta and pizza! They do karaoke some nights as well. We were new to the experience but found it to be great fun.
This is definitely the place to stay!
Owner's Response: Suzanne, Thank you so much for the wonderful review! You were great to work with too. I'm sorry we didn't discuss your desire for the internet in detail because it was something I had hooked up for the guest following you anyway! I'm glad you were able to access it at the coffee shops, but for future information the internet is a negotiable item and is handled on a per guest request, for a slight charge. I may make it the norm in the future if the need is there. Once again, thanks, it was a pleasure! Barb

Superb Glendale Condo

The owner's description of the condo was right on. It was clean, tastefully decorated and quiet. The location was great, close to many activities and shopping. My wife thought Glendale was beautiful and she felt right at home immediately. The owner was very accommodating - there was no BBQ but a George Foreman grill was provided. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to any family members or friends. If we decide to return to Arizona, we would definitely consider this property again.

Review Submitted: April 23, 2008 Date of Stay: April 2008
My wife and I were enchanted with this condo from the moment we walked through the front door. It is a very clean property with functional design. We especially enjoyed drinking our orange juice in the morning on the patio and watching the various water fowl on the lake. Barb is extremely accommodating and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I would highly recommend this condo.
Owner's Response: Ted and Lise....Thank you so much for your wonderful review, and for taking such good care of our condo. You were both a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad you enjoyed yourselves. I hope you'll get to come again in the future; it's people like you who make this business such a blessing. Thanks again! Barb

Vacation Ruined----SOOOO Disappointed

Hollie Clearwater Minnesota
Review Submitted: April 18, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
We rented a condo the because of the heated pool. The only reason we rented a condo was for our children to have a heated pool to swim in otherwise we could have stayed with friends at no cost. When we arrived at the condo the pool and hot tub was not operational. The owner would not refund our money so we were basically forced to stay with the agreement of a discount and so against our better judgment we stayed. The pool ended up being opened but not heated; it was extremely cold swimming and was not enjoyable. Since the pool was "fixed" but without heat, the owner did not feel that she had to honor our agreement for the amenities that we had paid for and had not received. This was very disappointing to us and our children--our vacation was not what it should have been.
Owner's Response: Hollie reserved our condo many months ago for one of four Spring Training weeks, never mentioning anything about the pool, let alone needing it to be heated. Had I known Hollie thought her children had to have a heated pool, I would've told her that I could never guarantee that; not only can heaters break, and propane run out, but once the weather turns warmer, many pool heaters are turned off. I would've just encouraged her to go elsewhere, and would've rented the condo to one of the many people who wanted it after she'd already paid her deposit. As it turned out, the temperature was around 80 degrees the week Hollie and her family were here, and her children used the pool almost every day and had a great time. So I was very surprised when, on the day of check out, she asked for a discount stating repeatedly that the pool was a freezing 50 degrees. Burr! Because I take into consideration the desires of my guests, and really do try to run my business with honesty, integrity, and fairness, I decided to go check it out. I picked up a pool thermometer, and my grandchildren, and headed to the condo pool. Their were several people using the pool when we got there, and the pool water tested out at 75 degrees, the hot tub was about 95, and we had a wonderful time using the pool and the hot tub as did the other adults and children who were there. I'm sorry she felt the need to give us a bad review, but the discount she mentioned was only offered if the pool and hot tub weren't useable, but they were, thus our original contract stood.

Our favorite features: Very quiet, an easy, 10-minute drive to the Peoria ballpark, and the friendliest owner you could hope for. The huge sliding glass door looking out over the water and golf course gives a true vacation feel and makes the place feel much more expansive. The covered parking was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Gllendale Condo

Review Submitted: January 9, 2008 Date of Stay: December 2007
The condo was clean, well-maintained, and atractively decorated. It was large enough for 4 adults to live happily for 10 days. There are plenty of activities and attractions nearby. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had. We were very pleased with our stay there and would stay again.
