Reviews of Property: Family Friendly apartment near to beach

This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment and again we had a wonderful time. The apartment has everything you need for a great holiday from washing machine to a fully stocked kitchen loads of toys for the kids books dvds sky tv. The apartment is in a excellent location and the veiw is probably one of the best on the whole san jaime complex. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment and will be returning again.

We have just returned from spending two weeks in menorca at tonys apartment and we had a fantastic holiday. The apartment was really home from home and had all the amenities we needed ,cds, dvds and inflatables for the kids which was fantastic. We have stayed at the san jaime three times now and tonys apartment was far superior to the ones that are allocated with thomson in zone 3 we would definatley recommend this apartment and wouldn't hesitate to book again when we return in the future. Many thanks tony for making our holiday one to remember.

Just returned from a weeks holiday staying at this apartment. We found the apartment really clean and modern with everything you could need, including books, dvds and lilos/beach toys/beach mats. It's set in lovely surroundings and you could walk easily to the pool, beach, bars and restaurants. We didn't hire a car but used the bus service to go to Mahon and the market which we found really easy to use and good value for money. This is the first time we have been to Menorca and would definitely go back and recommend this apartment to friends and family.

Everything you would need was there.
I enjoyed sitting out looking at the lovely view.

Having spent a week at this apartment 2 adults 2 children we found it like home from home , we had a great time with fantastic weather 32 degrees + .The apartment had everything we needed , the ipod docks were a big hit with the kids, travel adapters all included in both bedrooms which was great as we only had one .The apartment is modern inside unlike some others , having been to son bou before it was a nice surprise to find a well equipped apartment like this.

We are just back from our fabulous stay at Tony and Sue's apartment. This place is a home from home. I was very nervous booking as this is the first time I have booked an apartment using any web site but I can honestly say weI were all more than impressed with the apartment and with Menorca.The apartment had every conceiveable thing you could need from books DVD's cd's surf boards for children and Adults to delph toasters TV washing machine and a lovely view of the sea. The sand is fabulous on the beach a 10 minute walk max and even though you do not need to hire a car (driving very easy and good road signage) we did hire one for three days and we found a lovely beach with bar and lovely tables cut out of tree like timber and thatched roofs over the tables. We felt like we were in the seychelles. We also went to Mahon and Es Castell with lovely Harbours and places to eat. We hope to go back next year as this is a lovely quiet island suitable for young family's my children are 9 and 5. Thanks again Tony and Sue Rosemary John Oisin and Clodagh .

We hired a car and followed the easy directions provided in our information pack to Son Bou. It is easily situated 15 - 20 minutes from the airport by car and is an excellent base from which to explore the island.

The well appointed property and grounds are very well maintained and included excellent facilities along with the owners personal belongings to make it feel like home-from-home in a very picturesque area. Son Bou has an excellent variety of family bars, restaurants and tourist shops.

The site manager Gines, gave us a warm welcome and shared information of the area and site. The appartment included a comprehensive information folder of favourite places, restaurants and things to do in Menorca.

We were told on our visit to Son Bou at Whitsuntime that it was quiter than usual for that time of year.

Places we enjoyed visiting were Mao, Cala En Porter (beach), El Toro (convent retreat) and Fornells (water sports). We found good places to eat were:- Compostella, Son Bou Bar, Casa Andreas and can recommend taking advantage of the 'Menu of the Day' which is offered in most restaurants and good value for money. A visit to the local bakery is a must.

As a group of 4 adults we also saw a mixture of families and walkers in the resort. We believe the island is a perfect place for families and couples but possibly not lively enough for younger people at the time of year we went.

We can recommend that you stay here and would go again ourselves.

My self and @ 2 friends have just returned from Son Bou, unfortunately the weather was not kind to us but I would highly recommend Tony's apartment,it has everything you need & more. I endorse the reviews already written, it was clean and well equipped and if you have children there is everything pool toys CD's DVD's, bats, balls you name it they have it . Bus stop over the road, good entertainment 2 minutes away in St Jaime club. several pools.
I would recommend Boni's restaurant , we ate almost there every night, they cater for everyone , dress up or casual, a great selection for children and an area for them to play, staff pleasant and attentive nothing is a bother to them. Despite the weather we did get around the island.
