Reviews of Property: CITY CENTRE LUXURY APARTMENT

The property: perfect location in El Born--central, easy access to the rest of the city, good restaurants and bars on your doorstep, market five minutes away. What more could you want? The apt. itself is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and makes excellent use of space. Kitchen is very well equipped and thoughtfully stocked with staples. Comfortable beds.

The experience: owner is very professional, obliging, thoughtful, and went out of her way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

I've stayed here twice in the past nine months and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Barcelona. This is a great value and it is a pleasure to work with the owner.

A stunningly presented apartment with such attention to detail you will find hard to match. They say simple things in life are best. Well tea and coffee in the cupboard when you arrive are a blessing after a very early morning flight. A cool escape to your air-conditioned lounge after hours walking in the hot days of June is a welcome relief. And what is it they say Location! Location! Location! Based in the heart of the El Born district, you can walk to all major attractions such as La Rambla, Beach, Marina, Gothic Quarter, Parc Cituadell and some of the finest cafes, bars and restaurants Barcelona has to offer within 15-20 minutes. Metro, Trains, Tram and Buses all within a very short walk for visiting further afield. You couldn't find a better base to discover such a wonderful city. And last but not least a special mention must be made to the owner Kay Davidson for a special welcome and help as how to best enjoy our stay in Barcelona. David, Julie & James.

My husband and I along with our daughter & son ( both adults) stayed in this wonderful apartment for 4 days in April. The location was ideal, we were able to walk everywhere. Cafés, restaurants are plentiful and very good. We appreciated the fact that Kay provides all the basics for meal preparation for when we didn't feel like going out to eat. We truly felt at home here. The decor and layout of the apartment are fabulous and Kay really made us feel welcome. We have rented several vacation rentals in the past ( houses, villas, cottages, apartments) and must say that this is one of the best! Certainly THE best in terms of apartments in a city centre. This apartment was exactly as pictured and described. Immaculate and very well maintained and its own unique charm. Very centrally located and the perfect home base for our holiday. Parking for rental vehicles is close by, although expensive.

Thank you Kay for taking such great care of us, even when you were on your own holiday. Wonderful to know that you were just a phone call away to take care of everything.

This was our first trip to Spain and the first time to rent an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. Both were memorable! This apartment is in a great location - close to lots of shops, restaurants and must-see sights. We felt like we were living with the locals. It is tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and well-equipped. The whole transaction went very smooth with lots of communication before we left. We would highly recommend this property. Apartment is exactly like the pictures. Very Clean and well maintained. located in an excelent part of Barcelona with lots of the main tourist attractions 5 mins walking from your door. Plenty of cool Bars, Resturants and clubs close to the apartment. Owner is very freindly and helpfull and guest book gives some great recomendations. Would deffinately recomend this place to family and friends.

Just stayed at this amazing property. Right in the centre of everything in the Barri Gothic neighborhood. Great restaurants, good transportation, close to the beach and you feel like a local. The apartment is impecable. Clean, comfortable, warm and of all the flats and villas I have rented through this site, the owner of this property was the best! A 5-star rating. Everything you could ever need was supplied and she took time to tell us about great spots in the neighborhood. I have already booked for next summer and O just returned last week. Brava! We stayed here in February 2008 and found the apartment exactly as depicted on this site, but better. The location is also outstanding, in the centre of the historic district - the Born - which means you can walk to all the must-sees that are concentrated here. It's in one of the pedestrian-only passages that run through the district, and are full of restaurants, bars and interesting shops. But the other great thing about this apartment which you can't see here is the owner. Kay is extremely responsive, helpful and professional. She can help with any problems or special requirements, and is bi-lingual. The whole process from first enquiry to check-out was an absolute pleasure.
