Reviews of Property: Fabulous villa with private pool & stunning mountain views

Everything as described! Lovely villa in wonderful surroundings with fabulous views. The property was spotless and the pool in perfect condition. How nice to swim and at the same time enjoy the vista...almost an "infinity pool". Although our "eco" leanings meant we didn't use the airconditing very much, it was nice to chill the bedrooms before retiring and it worked perfectly. The mosquito screens were very effective, though in fact there seemed to be very few around in this mountain location.

A very well equipt kitchen and nice satellite tv setup was very welcome. (we left some instructions on how to get Radio 4 on the satellite so you can keep up with the Archers while away on holiday!)

We were very impressed by Nicola's highly professional and organised administration, with excellent instructions to locate the villa including a Powerpoint presentation illustrating the road landmarks on the way!!! Nicola makes the point which is well heeded that you must take a torch if arriving late. Its also worth pointing out that the last 100 yards involve a fairly steep, narrow corner which rather caught out our underpowered little Fiat hire car!!

We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa, and hope to book again next year.

My family and I stayed at Casa el mirador for 2 weeks at the end of July. The villa is beautifully maintained and kitted out to a very high standard.
My teenage boys loved the very large pool which was cleaned regularly by the property caretakers, Rita and David.
We would definately consider booking this villa again.

A first class,well maintained, clean and comfortable villa in an idyllic setting in the real Spain and an ideal base for sightseeing. It was so quiet and peacful that we had no desire to go off and spend a day on the beach, it was heaven just to laze by the pool and take in the wonderful view. The villa has everthing you need and a great deal of thought has been put into the comfort of guests. At night we enjoyed to BBQ and sit under the stars enyoying a bottle of Rioja and looking at the twinkling lights of the village in the hills above whilst hearing goat bells as the goats were hearded in each evening. An adequate selection of bars and resurants are just a short drive away and a trip to the village of Alcaucin is a must. We received excellent customer service from Nicola who kept us up to date and informed from the minute we booked, she made us feel like friends rather than clients, thank you for that Nicola. We would not hesitate to recomed this villa to anyone and we can not emphasise how much we enjoyed our stay and how much we enjoyed our holiday, the result being we booked again for next year the day after we came home!

Yes we really did wish this suberb villa was ours!
You couldnt fault it. Just out of the way enough, yet with your hire car just 5 mins drive to resturants/shops.
What a big pool just to ourselves (well for the week). Married 26 years yet just been on a second honeymoon here at this villa.
Well worth a drive around Vinuela lake, up through the mountain pass and definatley go up to Alcaucin village (the one you can see from the pool up on the hill flickering lights at night) lovely pub in Alcaucin village centre (park on hill and walk in) the one near the village fountain, very friendly and some good food especially try the Tapas!!
Nicola helped no end with our booking and the directions were excellent, even the owners popped in to see us (as they were staying in the village the same week as us) and bought a bottle of wine with them!

My family and I have now stayed at Mirador on two occasions and we will certainly be booking for next year. Everything about the place is perfect. The location is simply stunning and is a good distance from the coast and the shops. The villa itself has everything you would need for a perfect family holiday. The service you receive from Nicola is extremely professional and everything is made very easy for you. We highly recommend this villa.

I have to agree with all other reviews, this is a truly excellent villa with everthing you could possibly need for self catering or eating out in the local village. The scenery can best be described as beautiful and an ideal location to get away from it all. Many happy days spent just reading and sunning ourselves and always finding new things to look at in the surrounding villages.
Excellent management from start to finish and have already passed on the info to family, but don't want too mant people to know about this idyllic spot.

We stayed at Casa El Mirador during the last two weeks of October 2008; everything was great. It’s difficult to add to the other reviews other than that administration was also excellent; communication was always prompt and very helpful. Overall, an excellent service. Thank you.
